Schar Gluten Free Rustic Loaf Sourdough Bread | 10.6 Oz | Case of 5

I’m ridiculously picky about any kind of food. Unfortunately, before I knew I had celiac, my absolute favorite foods were breads and pastas, cakes and cookies. It’s extremely difficult to find a really good sourdough, no matter what it’s made of. But this is by far the best sourdough I’ve ever had! I’m not just saying “for gluten free” - I mean it’s the best one I have EVER had! Worth every penny! Came quickly and I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.

I went back and forth on getting this bread because of the price. However, I am glad I purchased them. The bread is great and I just put the ones I haven't used yet in the freezer.For anyone gluten free, it is nearly impossible to find GF sourdough bread. I can't remember the last time I had sourdough. So it was great to be able to have that option again.

I have never had such delicious gluten free bread. Ever. And the texture is like "real" bread as well. It is wonderful buttered to eat with soup. Yes, it is expensive, but once I tried it I decided I was worth it! I make my own fresh gluten free bread in a bread machine with Bob's Red Mill Wonderful Homemade Bread mix. That is good, but this is even better. I was diagnosed with Celiac 15 years ago and gluten free products have come a long way in that time. Schar is far and away the best brand.

I popped a loaf of this into my toaster over for a few minutes. Sliced a couple of thick slices and coated them in butter. It's been many years since I had that much pleasure out of a slice of bread. This is definitely on my must have monthly order. Enjoy!

I bought these loaves in particular to make a rustic bread stuffing for Thanksgiving. I am celiac, so having gluten-free loaves was particularly important. This product is not easy to find in a grocery store. So I ordered these, and one of the loaves had mold all over the bottom of it, very disappointing for this price point.

The bread is for my wife which has gluten sensitivities. The bread is very good, and tastes great. Now she can have bread for sandwiches.

I bought the hype and gleefully looked forward to having sourdough in my life again. Everyone touted this bread and brand as nearly the same as regular gluten sourhdough bread. NOT EVEN CLOSE. It tastes more like wet paper. I could have gotten the same type of dense, dry, bland bread at WalMart in the GF section for half the price. Why is this so hard to create, especially for companies that are already perfecting other GF products?!?! I guess I'm just going to have to develop a recipe, myself, for REAL Sourdough GF bread that really does taste good. So disappointed :( :( :(
