If 4.5 stars were and option that would be my rating. Overall we love this mat.PROS:1. This Developlace mat seems about 20% larger than the Gymini deluxe mats with music of which we have owned two.2. The mat padding and stitching is nicely done. The red supports that hold the net "tent" in place also seem to be sturdy to last for multiple children.3. The colors and the forest/ animal print are intriguing to both baby and parents, and are on both sides of the mat.4. The versatility to re-configure the mat as baby grows is an A+ Concept for value and enjoyment.CONS1. It would be great if it came with a simple zippered nylon carrying case/ sack for transport2. When trying to reconfigure the mat to the tunnel shape the sides of the mat bulge out rather than lay flush as the position of the Velcro straps on the mat is at a wider position than the placement of the poles. It may be that undoing all 4 corners and flipping the pole direction will remedy this, but it takes some extra time on Mommy or Daddy's part to figure it out. And the elastic strap with Velcro for wrapping around the pole to hold the sides into tunnel position seems longer than it should be to fit around the pole nicely.Overall we would definitely purchase or gift this play mat. It would be wonderful if Tiny Love designed a hanging musical supplement to this mat as well as a carrying case. If gifting, it could be helpful to add an inexpensive set of the toy rings sold separately so that the height of hanging toys can be modified for baby.It would also be nice to provide one or more additional small chime toys for baby to kick while on the mat. There is a small round felted ball included with the mat that makes a chime noise. Tiny Love used to make a wonderful hanging toy with multiple chimes for kicking, bring that back please!

I'm so glad I found this on Amazon instead of buying whatever was available @ Walmart. It was worth the shipping wait! This is far better than any play mat I've used or seen at the store. The mat is thicker than others and larger too. It is easy to put together, very sturdy, and sooo practical! My son is 4 months and loves all the crinkly toys & colors. This mat comes with a great variety of well made hanging toys that are very cute. My 6 yr old loves playing peek-a-boo through the "window". I did attach a couple of the plastic loops together to make some of the toys lower for him but soon he will be big enough not to need this. One of his favorite features that isn't very clear in the pics is a giant crinkly leaf that is sewn to the mat so it's always in reach no matter how he's laying. Another reviewer complained about the way the sides attach....I did not have any problems at all, I followed the simple instructions & mine looks just like the picture. I can't wait for him to start crawling through the tunnel! If you're shopping for a play mat, this is the one to buy! So versatile, great quality, very cute, & can ba used for so much longer than regular play mats!

Purchased this for my son, after hearing from the babysitter he can't get enough of their baby gym. This is so much better than I expected it to be! He loves to reach up and grab things, so this is perfect! He easily played with it for 20 or 30 mins last night and I had to pull him away for bed. Easy to put together, the bottom is washable (a definite plus) and I like that it turns into a tunnel when he gets to crawling age! Would also recommend the Tiny Love cl

This is exactly what I was looking for and we are so happy with this product; my now 4 month old loves it! This is practically the only activity gym out there that will grow with my child up through his 1st birthday! I just couldn't justify the price of those other activity gyms that my son was not going to be interested in once crawling. I just wish it folded it up better for storage, but other than that, it's wonderful.

I really like how the sides of this come up and they can still use it when sitting up. My 2 month old is engaged by grabbing the toys and looking in the mirror and she will stare at the walls if I have them up so I started doing that. My friend has a 7 month old that also likes it while sitting up. It's bright engaging colors are fun and it comes apart to store.

Best purchase for my baby!!!! Easily washable, that drys quickly, easy to put together and a part. And if u get more links it's unlimited toys hanger. plus if the baby is very little and can bang himself with the toy, u can secure it with links :)

My little man is 4 months old and I can see this play gym lasting for many months to come. I love that you can interchange the toys to keep baby interested. It feels sturdy and safe and was also very quick easy to set up and get playing.

I love this activity gym. I have three children and never bought one of these since I thought they're so expensive. Then I started babysitting for some neighbors and felt that I needed something to put the babies on instead of just a cotton blanket that would bunch up if they'd move their hands. I've used this with a few babies ranging in age from 3 months old to my 20 month old daughter (who likes to lie down on it and crawl through the tunnel and surprise me by looking through the hole). The toys it comes with are very nice. Babies 3-6 months have especially liked the frog rattle and crinkly fox and I was surprised to see they liked crumpling the circle's with numbers on them too. It's large enough that two babies can fit on it at once, and my three year old fits too (when he wants to). I have washed it at least ten times already and it seems to be very high quality. This is definitely something I'd recommend and wish I had bought earlier!

I bought this when I was pregnant, our little man is now 5 weeks old and absolutely loves it! Excellent quality, the mat is very soft and padded, it's lovely and bright ( very eye catching for baby), I love the fact it can grow with baby, larger than I thought it would be, easy to set up, the mat is machine washable, all toys are removable, very good value for money :)I really can't fault this at all!! I would highly recommend this to anyone :)

This is lovely and such good value for money. The mat is nicely padded, unlike some on the market and has a nice selection of toys.
