The sight that I received was not the sight pictured. I received a cheap little sight that in no way will fit my 10/22.

Great alternative optics
I purchased this product for use with my Ruger American .22 Rimfire. I was not impressed with the dovetail sights that comes stock with the rifle, and after the flip-up rear sight broke at the hinge, I opted to purchase one of these as it features a fibre optic front sight. It looks great on the rifle and I really enjoy my subjectively better sight picture now with an aperture optic. Some range time with it resulted in better groupings for me due to my preference for this style. My girlfriend likes it too.My only real complaint is that the rear sight optic attaches with only one screw near the far end of it, which makes the entire piece feel a bit flimsy; I can apply a little bit of pressure and the optic will bend upwards. Maybe utilizing two screws for the pre-tapped RAR barrel would have made this better. The front sight also does not sit flush against the barrel for most of its length; only the point where it screws has a contour that matches the barrel while the rest of it is pancake flat. Having the entire thing contour could also potentially solve the flimsiness.

Perfect for the Ruger American with FP-GR receiver sight
I have a Williams FP-GR on my Ruger American .22 and it needed a slightly taller front sight. As this sight set was low cost and a direct swap I went ahead and ordered it. To my delight, the front sight is the PERFECT height for the FP-GR receiver sight on this rifle. Williams needs to sell this sight separately.

Wont stay zeroed
Same prob as Kenneth. Sight wont stay zero. Side to side wobble. Used red loctite.Sight itself isnt horrible. But the mount needs to utilize the 2nd screw hole.

Won't hold setting.
I had the same problem as the others who gave bad reviews. The sight is held in place by only one screw and is unstable, shifting from left to right. It also is too high at its lowest setting for a front sight of normal height.
