Bought for a trip to Nepal one green and one blue. The shorts had added benefit of being just above/on the knee ideal for visiting historic sites where modesty was required. Zips don’t irritate like high end High Street brand do. Plenty well placed pockets for everything. Come with belt which I looked to buy at out door store but it was half the price of these trousers.Great fit and comfortable for trekking over hilly and adventurous terrain, not just on a footpath.Would look for these to buy again. Two other parents bought these and they too are more than happy with their purchases and the quality. The navy and green are good colours and have not washed out.

The fabric is light and stretchy, but I dislike the net fabric lining the pockets, no good for keys for example. Slight puzzle is the length of the belt, about 25 cm too long, might resort to cutting it down or getting a different belt.

Ordered to wear on safari as mornings are cooler and the fact by late morning I could zip off into shorts was a great idea. They are lightweight, comfortable, plenty of pockets, fit well and good quality. Would definitely recommend

Good for the price , very light which is handy , i would recommend going a size smaller as there is plenty of stretch in the waistI’m a 32 waist and I ordered a 30 and was perfect

Bought them for holiday. Leaving cold weather and landing in hot weather so perfect-or so I thought. The two button poppers on the thigh pockets ripped through on the first day of wearing them. So the popper and the fixing were together on the top flap of the pocket. This meant they weren't able to be secured closed. I bought them to make sure wallet, passport and phone were safe in my pockets. Completely defeated the object. Then there is a zip pocket on the left thigh too. After a couple of hours, the closed zip opened up. So there was an open gap in front and behind the zipper. I had to position the zipper in the middle and hope that the hole either side of the zip wasn't big enough to let anything fall out.

Have had these a couple of months and now it's time for the review. What can I say they are comfortable lightweight stylish and removing the lower part and putting back on is the easier type of I have tried. They dry quickly and strong enough for walking in the woods without fear of ripping.

The fit was good, the only downside was the join to the lower leg annoyed a bit as I found it a bit higher up the leg than I like. I walked up Snowden and got used to it really quickly. Would recommend.
