Q: Does this gel have a better consistency than nutri-cal? my cat really resists that stuff, no matter how i try to get her to take it.

i have 2 Tiny Toy Poodles that love it. I have been giving it to my other puppies and one lived to be 15 years old, and the other was 18 years old. It seemed to enhance their appetites and they ate their meals better. I notice a difference when I don't give it to them. It is not a gel, maybe there is a formula for cats that is different. The picture is Tomlyn NutriStat and is what I have for the puppies.

I have small dogs both under 5 pounds and this has been life saving for them at one time or another. My boy had lost almost 2 pounds during a food switch and I didnt catch it right away. When I started giving him this supplement he put his weight back on within one week. My vet recommends giving it 4 times daily for weight gain for dogs or cats and it has always worked for me.
