SYLVANIAV34708-88 100-Count Purple (Not Dark Purple Slightly Pinkish) Halloween Lights Set with Black Wire

I'm a guy and I'm in college and I bought these to somewhat decorate my dorm for halloween, but I can say I'm satisfied and also unsatisfied. I like the look of them in the room regardless of the color they may have been (pink in this case), but only that I'm a guy it's just a little "girly" to have in a guy's room. But I personally don't care what other's say to be honest, so I do recommend this to people, just need to state more clearly that this is not "slightly pinkish" and that it is "mostly pink".

The description is exact and not misleading as it says the lights are "pinkish" not really purple. When you take them out of the box the lights appear purple but once plugged in they're definitely pink. I knew that when I ordered these because I bought the exact same ones in a Halloween store a few years ago. With that being said, I love them and I got what I paid for. I put them on my headboard to light up my room at night and they look great. If you want purple though, you'll be disappointed because these are pink when lit up.

These are NOT purple when lit. They appear purple when unlit. When lit they are bright pink. They're not that long. The wire could have been longer. They are okay. Will keep but not as expected. I expected a pinkish purple not a bright pink. Will use for Easter decor but not fitting for Halloween purple.

Product received was not the product advertised. Was sent off brand Pumpkin Hollow lights not the Sylvania brand that I was expecting. I will say that these are significantly more purple than what other people have received, so I’m that regard I am happy. Just wish that seller advertised the correct brand.

I was looking for red/pink/purple lights to hang in my dorm, it didnt mke a huge difference to me that they were pi nk and not purple. BUT THEY ARE NOT PURPLE! or slightly pink, THEY ARE PINK. but overall good quality, its hard to find string lights that dont have green cords.

The lights look great and are nice and bright. The only problem is that I was expecting purple lights. When I put them up in my daughters room next to their purple lights that they already had, we laughed at how pink they were. They are no where near "slightly purple," they are very, very pink! That is even coming from 3 and 4 year old girls. I said "what color are those lights?" They laughed so hard saying "those are NOT purple, those are pink!"

Definitely heed the other reviews; these are undeniably pink lights. That being said, they're very bright and great Halloween lights. I would give them 5 stars if they would change the picture and not call them 'purple'.

I had similar lights bought at halloween time, i drape them in my daughters room as a night light. I bought these to replace the ones I bought in October. These are VERY pink, and bright. Nothing like the ones I bought at a store a few months back. Other then that, they are working light, just bright and more pink then purple.
