Still looking for the perfect recipe to use this with but the cookies I’ve made are beautiful, the imprint is deep and holds through cooking even on the slightly too soft shortbread recipe I tried. Loving it.

I ordered this for a friend that bales. She loves that she can imprint the flowers on her pie crusts and plans on displaying it.

I'm a ceramic artist and use this for the pattern on clay. It is a gorgeous pattern and seems to be holding up great. I want to buy more designs.

Performs as described. Best with firmer dough. Recommend the dough be rolled out long and linear (width of rolling pin) to avoid creating creases or leaving dead space. Makes for a very nice pattern on any style/shape cookie cutter.

Got as a gift for a friend who loves to bake. Don’t know if he’s used it yet or how well it works, but the shipping was fast and well packaged. The rolling pin itself feels sturdy and the pattern is beautiful.

Recommended by a friend and gifted to another friend who says it's great. They have used it with various recipes and say the recipes with the rolling pin are the best.

I wanted fancy-looking cookies for a tea party for my husband, and this embossed rolling pin was perfect. I did read reviews first and was glad I read about oiling the rolling pin first, rather than just using flour. There was slight sticking of the dough at first, but it was easy to gently pull the dough away and keep going. An old butter cookie recipe was perfect consistency, but I did lightly dust the cookies before baking with a little sugar. I did have to soften the refrigerated dough by gently kneading it with my hands to make it pliable enough to roll. Cleaning was easy with a wet, soapy hand brush, which removed any bits of dough that were stuck in the crevices. A light oiling after the rolling pin dried should keep it in good condition.

I made crackers with this embossing pin; it turns the regular crackers into something special. My recipe had butter in it and I dusted the dough with rice flour before making the imprinting, it did not stick at all.

I purchased this as a gift. Hoping it would be useful. I can't comment on its use, but visually it's beautiful. Smaller than what I had thought, but still decent size. The detail in the rolling pin would make beautiful cookies with the right dough, I'm sure. Although, I would note that if it does work well to form beautiful cookies - it might be a pain to clean. But the cookies would be worth it - if it works. Will update when it has been used.

This rolling pin arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Exactly as pictured. Texture is perfect for using with clay when making pottery. Very happy with this purchase.
