This switch worked perfect in my Dyson
This switch was exactly what I needed for my Dyson after the original power switch failed. It took minutes to install after it was delivered and my vacuum is up and going again. Perfect replacement part. If your Dyson won't turn on, take a look at the switch and if it looks like this one, buy it. It's super easy to install. The cover plate over the switch on my vacuum was only held on by two screws. Just make sure you unplug your vacuum first before attempting this repair!

Money Saver.
Ordered this switch for my 10 year old DC 07 which has been a workhorse. The power switch just would not stay depressed any longer. It was a quick 1 screw off and it revealed a burnt power switch after taking the small cover off.Switch fit in just fine, installed in under a minute, $ 12 total cost and vacuum is back up and running. Cleaned the filter and the roller brush from all the debris while I was at it. It was probably overload that got it to burn. So, I suggest to regularly clean the roller brush thoroughly.This repair would have cost me $ 60 minimum had I taken the vacuum at a repair facility. And Dyson did make the replacement process very easy by just placing it in a separate compartment and a single screw.

Old Dyson is good as new
Worked great!! My Dyson dc14 power switch was no longer "clicking" or turning on. When I opened it up (YouTube showed me how) I saw the switch was burnt - see photo. I also noticed that over the years the brush had accumulated a lot of debris (most likely causing the device to overheat). Bought this product not expecting much but now the Dyson is good as new!!

It fixed my vacuum that would not turn on. Then it would not turn off. This fit my DC-14 animal. Lets see if I can get another 10 years out of this one.
