Is there a discrete and easy way to weight these so that they don't blow over?

I imagine you can fill it with sand through the bottom (making a hole) and then seal or plug it (depending on hole size). Alternately, you can make a small hole in the top and do the same, then use the material from the hole to seal the top. (or just put something on top to hide the hole... )

Can i use these columns for my dining table base it needs to hold the table top size 3'X8' granite top. please let me know if 2 columnd are enough.

They are hollow plastic. I'm not sure they would be sturdy enough to hold a granite table top. Definitely not 2.

Three people have tried to remove cap from my second Greek column...unable.. any suggestions?

Some of these are a little difficult to get into and might require a little prying loose aroundtheedges. I use a small screwdriver at it base pushing around the hole. Or, maybe you could use a penetrating oil 'spray'.....they're all like this for the most part because they're new....good luck.
