Good lock, fair price.
Lock worked great, re-key is ingenious and the process is very easy. I recommend this lock.

Secure, Stylish, and Easy to Install
This deadbolt feels solid and provides a smooth locking action. The matte black square design gives the door a clean, modern look, and installation was straightforward. The SmartKey feature is especially convenient for rekeying without replacing the entire lock. A great combination of security, appearance, and value.

Easy install and great product
Super easy instillation, great pricing, feel safe with the easy of using the deadbolt. I love the square shape and I feel like this product will last a very long time. You can adjust the key settings to match any kwikset key you have and it is a HUGE plus to have everything match. Highly recommend, great product and easy to install.

got a used/returned item - but all parts were there.
directions are a bit sketchy but i'm fairly handy around the house so it didn't matter. needed a cheap deadbolt twist lock for my side garage door. Fit together pretty well, minor adjustments from me and it works fine. caution: not for the non-diy'er, it can be tricky to install. definitely worth a measly $13.

Reliable, solid build, great value.
As a professional handyman, I've installed a dozen or so of these for various customers. They install quickly, and the Smartkey re-keying capability is especially a big value add for customers with rental units. Strongly recommended, and I am a repeat customer.

Very Disappointed!
I ordered two of these but one has a defective bolt. It only travels half way and stops. I don't want to play with it. PROBLEM: My return window closed two days ago. I'll still try to get a return, but if I don't, I'm stuck. Brand new lock that won't work out of the box!

A good purchase
Perfect replacement for existing Kwikset deadbolt. The Smartkey feature allowed me to use only 1 key for all four locks in my home.
