I know this is a video camera but I bought this as a USB webcam for video conferencing and vlogging because it is in the same price range as nice webcams, it is superior to other USB cams and has all of the webcam features and then some. plus added portability and it makes an excellent webcam, portable video camera, ok photo camera, good blogging camera... I've been enjoying it. it's been working well, does what the description said that it would do and doesn't have any confusing functionality.The battery is a little bit more show than function. you can tell that the battery housing is mainly a hollow plastic shell so I'm certain there are better batteries out there for it somewhere. if anything will fit it. I have no specific complaints about the battery so far. It is superior to all other USB webcams and makes a fairly decent camcorder. Doesn't require any special software or anything to make it work with your computer so that's particularly nice in my opinion. The external microphone that comes with it is not much better than it's built-in microphone but having a microphone jack is excellent. You can plug in power while it's running so it's been a good dash cam for me as well. It's got a front-facing screen so I can use it as a vlog cam however I haven't yet actually done that. It records in familiar formats so it's easy to stick the card in my Android or my PC to see the videos. I mainly just use it as a webcam for zoom so that I can have my laptop where I want it and my camera pointing where I want it but being able to carry it places and use it as it was designed to be used as a video camera, I've been really enjoying it. I was just budgeting for and planning for a USB webcam but I've been kind of sort of thrilled with its performance as a webcam and it's wonderful versatility considering that I just couldn't afford a camcorder or a digital camera or the other things I've been using this for. My buddy has lots of money and he bought one also. He says that this is a great expendable or riskable camera for some of his more adventurous shots where he wouldn't want to risk leaving his thousand or thousands of dollar camera somewhere over a period of time or putting it in other jeopardy but for the price he would leave one of these somewhere and come back and get it later so that he could get some real cool shot. he likes the idea of $100 camera that he could use for circumstances like that. So I like the camera and my friend likes the idea of this camera. Almost forgot my favorite feature the remote control. I get to put the camera wherever I want it and then zoom it in to a perfect frame, hight, distance, before and during a skype call using the remote instead of having to lean up into the keyboard and then back to try to frame my face while conferencing.

Sometimes you buy something that is a low cost and you get what you paid for -- cheap. This is not the case. I took a chance and I am glad I made this purchase. We are starting to record sermons at church so that people staying home due to the pandemic can still see what is going on. It is usually mounted to a tripod when used, and it works great. This camera is listed as HD, and is recommended as a camera for podcasts, etc. We have used it for two weeks and are very happy with it. The built-in mic is good for in-the-house recording, but it also comes with another mic you mount on top that picks up a lot of distance sound. The instruction book is good enough to get you started and understand the basic features, and the menus seem to be easy enough to figure out on your own. The screen is clear and sharp for both recording any playback, and the menu is easy to use since it is a touch screen. It has a lot of extra features that I did not expect in a camera for this price.I also tried the slow motion around the house -- it works great! And the quality of the slow motion video is very good. I have not tried outside, either day or night, but I am looking forward to using the night vision feature.The camera comes with two batteries, so you can always have a spare charged up. And, since you charge a battery with a USB cable attached to the camera, you don't have to worry about a special charger adapter. The charging time seems short, and the battery seems to have enough power for a long shoot -- our recordings have been in the 30-minute range with very little battery use.I highly recommend this for casual use, for taking on the go, or even for letting your children use it to become budding movie producers.

Ehhh. I mean it’s not bad for the price. But the picture is not 4K ultra. It’s grainy and the battery life isn’t that good at all. Sound is very good though. And a lot of different settings to play with.

I got this camera to take with us on our family vacation, and it served its purpose well. I wanted something that would be easy to use, so that we could all have our videos in one place, rather than scattered amongst everyone’s phones. The picture quality isn’t perfect, but if you want the good old-fashioned home video style, this is the camera for you. It’s so easy to use, even my grandmother was able to operate it without any trouble!The camera arrived fully charged (which was awesome bc it arrived hours before we left), and was super easy to assemble the attachments. The microphone is absolutely necessary to use if you wish to use footage with the sound. The microphone that is built in to the camera is not very good on its own, but the attachment definitely makes up for that.The stabilizer gives the little camera a look that makes it seem more expensive than it is, which is another plus. Not to mention that it really does help stabilize the footage so you can easily walk and film without making the videos cause motion sickness while watching it lol.The touch screen is an awesome bonus. It makes it even easier to view the videos and change around your settings.The camera body itself looks and feels high quality. It’s lightweight, yet solid feeling (doesn’t feel cheap at all). It’s also small enough to be able to stick in the case it comes with, and easily slide into a purse or backpack.This camera served its purpose and I am so thankful it captured our memories so easily from our trip. I will definitely be bringing it along for any of our future adventures!
