I have never used a bazooka before. I always made my sushi by hand. This bazooka makes very large sushi, so be prepared. I learned to go easy on the rice and fill in the space with ingredients instead. Knife is sharp but flimsy. So may want to have another one on hand. My favorite part of this kit was the containers for the sushi. I made some for my roommates and they loved the little packaging.
