Sippy Cup Conversion Kit for Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottles

This straw cup conversion for the Philips Avent bottles is amazing! My 9 month old had been using a honeybear cup that wasn't spill or leak proof, so I was looking for another straw cup solution. We also still had a handful of glass bottles that we weren't using anymore because baby had been refusing bottles for a few months (breastfed). This straw conversion fits and works perfectly on our 4oz bottles! There's an extra amount of straw down in the glass (see photos) because I believe they're intended for the larger bottles, but that hasn't impacted their functionality, especially since they are weighted. Very easy to use - this pops into the bottle screw ring, where you'd normally put a nipple. The handles on the side are easy for baby to grasp and hold on their own. These have a valved straw, so they don't leak. They're are a little annoying to clean, so I wash them in the dishwasher and they've held up well so far. It's been 10 days and I've been washing them once a day. My only real complaint is the price because I feel they are expensive for what they are. But I'm happy to be getting use out of our glass bottles again!

Philip agent natural moms this is a must!!! Really great transitional piece for toddler! Toddler had no trouble transitioning and helped with independent feeding. The flow is similar to the nipple. If baby stops feeding it stops with and no over spill. It is easy to attach to nipple lid and easy to remove to clean. The set comes with a brush so helpful for cleaning. We do use it with the 9oz bottle as the straw is longer. Overall 10/10!

Honestly i never write reviews on anything unless i feel very strongly one way or another about a product..but these are AMAZING! We were big Philips avent bottle fans during the infant stage, mainly bc they do not leak at all and were convenient to travel with..and these weighted straw conversions for the bottle are so great! The weighted straw works perfectly and does NOT leak like other weighted straw cups I’ve purchased for my baby. The handle is great, as well and fits snuggly. Not sure why we didn’t just invest in these from the beginning when we started the transition from bottle to straw cups. Super convenient since you already have the bottles - no need to spend extra money on different kinds of cups when you already have them. My daughter took to this straw immediately and they are now our go-to cup over any of the other straw cups we have.

These are ok. Great for a transition from bottle to straw. We used it to transition from formula to whole milk. The only downside is it doesn’t have a great seal with the Phillips rings. My toddler is in the throwing stage and it immediately pops out and spills. Will also spill through the nipple.

I loved these converter kits and after trying them out for a few days, actually bought another set so I could have them in rotation. They worked great for about a month, but then the rubber tube/straw that connects to the nipple has stretched out and falls off constantly, rendering the bottle unusable. I clean it off, dry it, and put it back on snugly and it immediately slides off again! It is so frustrating and confusing for my baby who can no longer get any milk to come out. I also only hand washed these so I never exposed them to extreme heat that might affect them. I wish they worked better because they are my daughter’s favorite sippy.

Leak proof and helps toddler transition to straw.

I never review things I buy, so if I’m giving it a review, you know it’s real. I literally bought 5 different types of cups to transition my 1 year old off of baby bottles. 3 of them were weighted straw cups. None of them were right. Either the suction was nonexistent or it came with 400 parts to clean. Or my kid just hated it. I randomly came across these since we already used the Avent bottles anyway and figured I’d give them a shot. Best decision ever! The suction is great, the straw bends perfectly to reach every drop of milk, and the whole thing is super easy to clean. The straw comes off easily to clean it and there’s no leakage if she puts the bottle down. They work on both the glass and plastic bottles too. (The handles don’t work great on the plastic bottles but my kid doesn’t care.) My kid is officially off of baby nipples and is using a straw consistently. Buy them. I swear it’ll make your life so much easier. And save you some money too.
