Heat Shrink Tubing - 15.25 m Roll

I had a snapped and bent aluminum boat canopy frame which I had straightened and repaired with tube inserts and rivets. Fine as far as it goes but I had the bright idea of encasing it in heat shrink to prevent any rough spots damaging the canopy, and to disguise the agricultural nature of the repair in general. I tested several different types of heat shrink, and this one is the clear winner. It is nice and thick, looks great, and I was able to shrink 5 metres of it with a blowtorch without scorching it at all. Add to that its excellent substrate of hot glue, and it's even strengthened the poles somewhat by laminating them. I'm absolutely delighted with the result, which would not have been possible with an inferior product.

Good quality but pricey, but if you are protecting electrics, then this is the one. Wish it came in shorter lengths, so I could have gotten a size down too. Shrinkage is uniform, have to cut open to re do and the wire comes away neatly which is also a bonus. Very durable but measured diameter wrong, but that's on me. I've used this on all my bikes wiring and seems solid so far.

It works exactly as I hoped. Some reviews said that the tubing walls were very thick but I found them to be perfect and actually thinner than some other tubing I've used. I also noted that it does a genuine 3:1 heat shrink as well. Very happy and highly recommended.

This brand makes good quality heat shrink. My first choice now.

Amazing heat shrink, takes a while to get around 16 guage but it does fit. And the adhesive really seals it up, I tried pulling it off my test wire and it actually too the wire insulation with it.

Without a doubt the best on the market, will be purchasing the remaining sizes I don’t yet have, quick delivery from seller.

Used on cat6 cable to use outside great job.

Solid choice. I was making a light project for the wife and needed some heat shrink I could place over the wiring so it looked less DIY. This was the perfect choice. I was able to cut the length I needed, slide it over the wires and then heat it to a nice snug fit using my heat gun. The 1:3 shrink rate is highly accurate and my only suggestion would be to cut less than you need since it will extend as it shrinks. Overall, easy install and great value for the money.
