The audio fever indicator and digital display make it easy to interpret results at a glance.However, the thermometer requires precise placement in the ear to ensure accuracy, which can be tricky at times, especially with a squirming child. The disposable probe covers are hygienic but add an extra ongoing cost.Overall, it’s a reliable and pediatrician-recommended thermometer that works well with a little patience. A great choice for families, but a bit of a learning curve for consistent results.

Very random , not repeatable reading. Not trustable

I got this for my boys nursery, and I could not rave anymore about it! The ease of this is amazing. Also, it doesn’t play a loud sound when trying to read the temperature which was a must for me being that some thermometers do a loud beep before their reading.

After going through what felt like 20 thermometers we landed on this one and it is by far the best combination of easy to use, kid friendly and accurate. You do need to keep the plastic caps on hand but not a big deal knowing that it is going to work.

Not as dependable as I’d hoped as it’s not consistent with getting the accurate reading. Also it randomly goes into Celsius and can’t figure out how to get back to Fahrenheit. So we just Google the conversion at this point. We would up buying a more expensive model of Braun and hoping it’s better.

I bought this to replace another Braun ear thermometer that I lost. I tried several other thermometers over the years & every time regretted it, because the reads were not accurate. This one is accurate (compared with readings from my kids’ doctor office & inpatient at our hospital), & it is SO quick! I purchased my previous Braun ear thermometer 15 years ago, while pregnant with my first child. It worked reliably the entire time, & wasn’t especially slow, but I was caught off guard by how instant the readings are on this one. Would definitely recommend, it’s worth sticking with this brand for the consistent, reliable readings.
