FA5 08 Civic Si Clutch Master Cylinder
This CMC was a replacement for the original FA5 CMC that appeared on the 08 Civic Si. It looks great but it doesn't come with the connector (Genuine Honda 46941-S5A-003 Clutch Master Cylinder Connector) or connector retaining pin (Honda Clutch Master Cylinder Connector Snap Pin - 46942-S5A-003) which aren't needed if you're using the old one's from the older master cylinder but if you're looking to replace everything, those parts are available on amazon by searching those Honda product numbers. Hopefully that helps someone!I included a picture of the connector and snap ring installed. I also included one of the CMC next to the Slave Master Cylinder.

OEM is the way to go
Replaced the Master and Slave on an 07 Civic Si. Plenty of 3rd party options and they are cheaper, however the Honda Master lasted 17 years. Good luck getting that from Rando 3rd party part maker.

Spend the extra cash and get the genuine Honda parts.. well worth it...
Working great in my 06 SI..I made the mistake of buying the AutoZone cylinder first and it didn't work so I had to do the job twice..My advice to anyone putting parts on your Honda-use genuine Honda parts..Unless you enjoy doing the job twice.. a bit more expensive but well worth it in the long run...

Perfect Replacement for the 2006 Civic si
I own a 2006 Civic si and when my original clutch failed in 2016 I had no idea I could replace my own master cylinder. I learned a hard lesson since I let a local garage do the work for over $500. Anyway, within about a year and a half the clutch started feeling soft, and In reality, the car just had not been the same since they "fixed" it, grinding gears, erratic feel, etc, etc. I just chalked it up to the age of the car creeping in. Then this last December it got worse and started to lose fluid mysteriously and it developed a "creaking sound" when I engaged the pedal and then it eventually started to not engage at all. I kept replacing the fluid and pumping it up getting it to work for about 6 months until it totally failed last week (4/11/19). When I asked what my options were the shop told me I was basically out of luck, but they could fix it again.... yeah, no. So I consulted Dr. youtube, and its assistant Prof. Amazon, and on the15th, I received the replacement "46925-TA0-A02" which is the genuine Honda replacement part (available here for $130 in two days thanks to my GF and her Prime account!). I finally got the failed cylinder out of the car after an hour of fiddling and you can see what I observed in the photo I posted. Apparently either the bolts used on this super cheap part (EXEDY MC569, also available here) are extremely low in quality or had been over-tightened at the factory. The bolt head had popped off at some point and the unit was basically open to the atmosphere and leaking profusely. After a half day of taking things apart and putting them back together I can tell you that it's a 3.000% difference in quality. It shifts like it's new now. lesson learned, insist on quality parts if you are paying someone to do the work. It you have the luxury of doing it yourself, don't go cheap. It's a huge gamble on a critical part like this.
