This is the perfect 10+++ makeup desk. It came in excellent condition. We even had some spare parts. My husband put it together easily. Love how the electrical cords can go down the hole. The left wooden stack is cool, too. You can put brushes, hairspray etc. in that compartment. I like the pink divider baskets. They are strong cardboard and I assembled those in 2 min. You can not beat this for the price. The other vanities I saw had no drawers at all for storage. This laminate wipes clean. Don't listen to reviewers who said they got a cracked board...all parts and pieces were in perfect new condition. In 2017 I purchased 200 items, this by far was my best choice.

My daughter loves this desk . A lot sturdier than i expected. Putting together was pretty easy.

I am using this as a vanity. It was very easy to put together. Two problems: I had is the back piece that sits on top of the desk was broken. Not sure how this happened since it was wrapped in between several other pieces. So I'm not sure how this was broken unless it was broken and then put in with the other pieces which if that's the case, that is really lazy. We got it together and glued the piece and it is fine. But this is desk that I paid over $200 for...NOTHING should be broken. Problem two: the drawer sticks. The piece that the drawer fits into...one of them is bent so you have to yank the drawer open. WE tried to straighten it out and did enough to get the drawer to close. Again...too much money for these pieces to not work correctly. I love this desk, but there were two pieces that should have been replaced before it was shipped or even packed.

My girls and I did most of the assembling. The hardest part was the door hinge!! That took me and my husband almost 40 min per door. There is no room to get the power tool in there straight and run. But eventually, we did it and finished it.

The desk came perfectly intact and only took me and my husband a little over an hr to put together. Despite what other people are saying, as long as you relax and follow along with the instructions, you will be fine!UPDATE: One year later.I was in love with this desk but ithas had so many problems. It is no longer a sturdy piece of furniture. Somehow, it became more wobbly over time. I have to keep tightening the screws on it.Other issues include:1. White coating peeling off in areas of the desk I both use (front end) and don't use (area that faces the wall). This tells me the white coating is defective and is not adhered properly to the surface of the desk.2. The table top bubbles with ANY moisture it comes into contact with INCLUDING humidity. This has left the desk surface uneaten and ugly looking.3. The main desk drawer has a cardboard insert at the bottom of it, not a wooden one. This makes it very prone to sagging over time and it will eventually break. Please watch out for this if you don't want your makeup to go everywhere...4. The white coat comes off SO easily. I took off some makeup packaging and set one of the stickers down at the edge of the desk. I picked up the sticker when I was done to throw everything away (barely sticky at all mind you) and the white coat peeled off where the sticker was! Unbelieveable!Overall, I am very upset. I was hoping this desk would be something that would last me for years to come. My last makeup desk (which was only $40 mind you) never did any if these things. I had that desk for well over ten years and only got this one for storage purposes for my growing makeup collection.Maybe I got a dud but I will warn you, South Shore is NOT helpful when it comes ro customer service. I am hoping Amazon can do something at this point but I am not holding my breath. I may be out of what I paid for this item and will have to save up for something else.Below are pictures of some of the issues I have referred to in this review.

This is perfect! I wanted something that had space for my stuff and at same time a vanity that has style. I love it! Would completely recommend. Came nicely packaged. You will need a good handy man to assemble but once it’s together, you’ll love it!

one of the boards were damaged when I received this and it needed to be raised a little so I could cross my legs under it, but overall I like it

This is perfect for a little girl who wants to play with make up or dress up!

I purchased 2.They are very durable and we just love them.Id recommend this to anyone.Im using mine for a makeup desk.My daughter is using hers for school.

I built it all by myself ! :) The instructions sometimes were unclear as to which way a piece should be turned, because it’s kind of like ikea in that it exclusively uses pictures and some of them look confusing.
