Remington CB7400NA Professional Style Hair Straightening Brush, Hair Straightener

I have fine curly stubborn hair. This appliance is awesome. The quality is so much better than other straightening brushes I've bought online. I would highly recommend!!

My daughter in law fell in love with this! I'm visiting Portland and she was curious about this heat hair straightener. It does wonders on her very thick hair! Better than on my baby fine hair. I'll need to get her one!----------------------------------------------------The proof is really in the photos below. Photo 1 is my wild tangled hair after I let it dry naturally and then slept on it--a mess! It's baby fine and often tangles in a snarly mess. I worked out the biggest tangles and was left with the photo to the left. The photo to the right, Photo 2, is after I ran the Remington heated brush through my hair a few times. I held a section of hair "tight" and pulled the brush through it a couple of times and did this with fairly large sections of hair. This was done quickly just to see how it would do if I were in a hurry and needed to "neaten up" my unruly hair.Easy to use: plug it in, push the button to turn it on and then if you want higher settings (it has 3 heat setttings) then press the button again. That's it. Takes seconds to heat up.I was impressed with the results for how bad my hair was frizzled and how quickly I was able to tame it. I used only the lowest setting as I have highlighted hair. The lowest setting was enough to smooth it out. I would try the higher settings only occassionly. The instructions do tell you what settings to use if you have certain types of hair.If I want my hair to be even straighter, I'd use smaller sections of hair and take my time. Though, it's never going to make my hair "super straight" if I wanted that look. This heated brush likely won't give you that "flat ironed" look to your hair, but more smooth it out. The ends are a bit more difficult to deal with, as my ends still had a bit of "frizzle" look to them, though I, again, did this quickly.I was looking for something with only one heat action, where I can let my hair dry on its own and then smooth it out, so to that end, this product serves that purpose and I'm pleased.It's (at time of this review) only $29.99, so for that price don't expect something you may find at a salon. For the money, and what it did to tame down my tangled wild hair, I am satisfied. That's why the four stars.

I wanted to return it, but not returnable. Thought I could just “brush” my hair straight. It pulls out hairs here and there. My hair got caught, pinched in between “ bristles “ at the top of my head. Or my hair wouldn’t stay through near the ends and touching the hot unit is painful. Saw a video for another brand and she made it look so easy. Will continue to use my past straighter.

Takes just as long as a straightener.

Tried on my daughters curly hair and it really did make it straight faster than a flat iron and easier. she loves it.

I wasn’t a fan of it. It didn’t straighten my hair as well as it said it would.
