Best Keyboard you can get for price.
First I want to say that this keyboard is actually originally $30 on the HP website. But here on Amazon I only got it for $15. First of all the keys are really soft touch and make very few to no noises, so if you are looking for a keyboard that is loud and then this isn't keyboard isn't for you. The keys are very smooth and have actually increased my typing speed greatly. The keyboard is a little fat for most keyboards but that doesn't to seem to get into my way. Now you might get the old model or the new model, the new model has a Windows 8 key instead of a Windows 7 key, but there is no other difference but that, this is definitely the best keyboard I have ever used so far. I highly recommend it.2 years later update: Ok, I have had this for 2 years and have used it daily. So far it works great, none of the keys have any visible wear, but the Windows key on it fell off just a couple days ago and pops right off. 2 years later and I still highly recommend it.

CLASSIC KEYBOARDS LIKE THIS ONE vs MANY OTHER FANCY KEYB9OARDS
Miami, FL 12-06-2013The touch that you feel on this type of keyboard is not present on the other types of fancy keyboards. It's not even comparable. I saw this keyboard on two secretary's and the Vice President's desk at my bank.. I tried to inquire but they could not help me. I went to H P site but I found no help. When I saw something quite similar to what I was looking for, for my business, at Amazon.com, I decided to order one to make sure it was what I was looking for. It was, and then I ordered two more today. If you are a typist who type by touch without looking at your keyboard like we all used to do with our not so old IBM electrical typewriters. The touch and the keyboard strokes as you type return your confidence on your keyboard (If you enjoy typing fast) I ordered two more today. One for my other desktop computer and the extra one as spare. They should have more classic keyboards available. Fancy keyboards are good for the people who look at their keyboard as they type. Five stars for this classic keyboard.Joseph L. AlcoverAlcover Acctg. & Tax Service, P. A.Miami, FL 33130

Back To Basics
Going back to basics. Loving this simple, basic, easy keyboard. I've gone through 6 keyboards in the last year from the fancy ergo to wireless, to chiclet keys. At the end of the day, just wanted a basic keyboard and I'm glad I changed back. The keyboard is light, it's not too flat like the chiclet keyboards, and the keys have just enough give to make typing easy. I'm still getting used to the size after going from one of the those large ergo, command center looking boards. I think this keyboard will be with me for a while.

Simple inexpensive keyboard
Just a plain replacement for a factory HP keyboard that the printing wore off the keys. It does the job well & has good action. Unfortunately, it was warped & would rock when you typed (like that table you're always seated at in the restaurant). It was cheaper & easier to tape some folded over cardboard under one corner than to return & exchange. Keyboard works well, cardboard doesn't show and life is good.

An easy 5 star recommendation
We've owned this keyboard for several months now. I've really enjoy the ease of tying with it and that it has multi-media buttons to adjust, volume - up and down, mute, and put the computer in sleep mode. By the touch of one button. Further, I can state - by accident - that the key board is spill resistant. A full glass of ice cold water tipped over on my desk and poured most of its contents right on the key board. This isn't the way I'd recommend testing out their claim. Thankfully, it did work. It was the first time this has happened and I hope that it is the last. The legs to adjust the height of the back of the key board come out easily and have stayed in place. Despite sliding the keyboard on the desk - they don't collapse. An easy 5 star recommendation - shipped very fast and all we had to do was plug it into our USB port and it worked great from the start. Great quality

Good Replacement. Works Well.
Love is a stretch since love is normally reserved for more significant things. But... it works as it should and the price is right.I bought this one to replace a Logtec keyboard that my grandson sprayed with pop. Logitec worked excellent until the pop deal but this one has the sleep, mute and volume control buttons which are really handy.

Decent but could easily be very good to excellent
Pro's: This moderately priced keyboard includes a feature I was looking for: a "sleep" button to quickly put my desktop on standby. This keyboard has that, and it works well. The keys are laid out well and have a lively-feedback feel when typing, which I like. Unlike a similarly priced keyboard from another manufacturer I bought last fall, the key labels on this one are not starting to fade after only a few weeks of use.Connect it to the PC via a USB port and this keyboard just works. Windows finds the driver automatically and you're all set.Cons: This keyboard is very compact -- too much so for comfortable typing. Keys are slightly small and squeezed too close together, which increases errors. By the way, I have decades of touch-typing experience and don't have large hands and fingers. Included flip-up feet at the back of the unit tilt the keyboard up at the back, but not enough. Finally, and more so than any previous keyboard I've used, this one needs a palm rest. The low angle of the board, even with the "feet" flipped up, coupled with it's skimpy size and cramped keys, make for a design that is very uncomfortable to type on for any length of time.If you have diminutive hands, minimal desk space and can improvise some kind of palm rest for it, this keyboard will probably serve you well. Otherwise, look for one of less skimpy, more-comfortable design.
