Clear screen, would recommend!
I received the item today. Immediately tried it on my 4stroke Mercury and it gave me accurate readings when comparing it to my buddies tester. The digital aspect is nice. Good for the money, I would recommend for anyone looking to replace and/or upgrade.

Know your compression
Used right out of the box with no adjustment. The gauge is accurate and easy to use. If you are needing a tool like this, it is a good buy.

Tighten the valve!
It kept reading 80 psi no matter what I tried. Eventually figured out I had to tighten the internal valve on the end of the hose. Used a schrader valve stem tool. Now it reads accurate and works well. Good tool just a few QA problems from the factory.

Works great and the extra fittings and the case are much appreciated. The gauge is easy to read, seems to be well built and the case is hard plastic to protect the components

Short accuracy life.
I have had for about 2.5 months. Used 3 times and loved it. Last week it was suddenly reading about half of true compression. Battery indicator showed full charge but changed anyway. Old batteries were still good when tested. New batteries did not fix issue. Very disappointed as tool looks great.

Works as Expected
Needed to run a compression test on a Land Rover engine. The compression tested worked as expected and gave consistent results. My only issue is the hose when stored in the case is bent in arc (so it fits). However, as it's stiff, when trying to screw into the cylinder head the curved hose makes it more difficult than it should be. Before use, suggest bending straight as possible and leaving out of the case overnight so that the hose is a straight as possible.

Great Bit of kit at bargain price.
Bought to test an engine on a new (old) motorbike project, to know where I stand before pulling it apart. Works great, and cannot believe how cheap these are! Worked extremely well, and was worth the price just for peace of mind. I have a similar product for diesel engines, which connects via the injector and it cost a lot more than this petrol one. Highly recommended.
