I love this style for creating a cute and casual updo! It gets the hair out my face but doesn't have that uncomfortable pinching that I hate about claw clips. I can rest my head against something without my scalp being pricked by the teeth of the hair clip. The shape of these are very classic and makes me feel almost elegant when wearing them. The bump in the clip is perfect to accommodate thicker hair or in my case, the rolled up part of my hair. The only super minor things I wish were different would be that 1) these came in basic, solid colors that weren't translucent 2) they could have a glossy finish instead of the soft touch matte, as I'm concerned about the finish becoming sticky and gummy over time, and 3) the little teeth inside the clip could be longer, and there could be little grips on the inside bottom of the clip to further secure the hair. After some wear time, the clips start to loosen from the back of my head, but this isn't a dealbreaker or anything. I really love this style of hair clip, and hopefully other people start to see how awesome and comfortable they are!

I was wary of order these because my older, long, thinning hair can sometimes not hold claw clips well, but I noticed these were not the traditional shape so I thought id give it a go. They have not disappointed! I can twist my middle of the back length hair into a French Chignon (no hair left out) and place the clip in at an angle (from lower right side to upper left), and it holds all day! Love the style and he ease of putting it in. I’ve not had to repeat putting it in for not holding my hair and have used it while my hair is damp and dry (I do not us styling products bc of allergies and it works great!)

As others warned - the clips are great until they break. After a couple months of daily use I've only had one break, but for no apparent reason.Would love to find a similar design made of sturdier material.

When I first received these I really liked them. But after using them once or twice they ended up snapping. The straight “leg” of the clips broke near the spring. Very disappointing.

I just recently got my hair cut short but love to pull it up. I have thin hair and have not found a clip that will hold my hair without a ton of hairspray. Got these today and i love them! I will be getting more for sure. They are comfy and hold my hair without pulling or it falling out... You will love them !

I have shoulder length, thick and fine hair. These clips actually hold it all in French twist and pony styles! I've only used them a couple of days, but they seem sturdy and durable. Nice matte neutral colors, too.

I used each one of them less than a handful of times and they cracked on my head. The cracks of all three of them were on the same spot. I do not have thick hair, so it really is bad quality.

I loved the look of these clips. I have been using them everyday since I got them, but two of them have already broken. Not because I have think hair, because I don’t. Not because I have carelessly banged them into things. No, I have just been sitting on my couch and heard the sound of something cracking only to reach up and have the clip break in two in my hand. I have no idea why. Both have broken in the same place, in the same way, in the same circumstances. I am super disappointed.Update: I received these November 8, it is the 28th and the last two broke today. So. Absolute waste of money.I think maybe the springs have the tension too high? They all broke in the exact same spot spontaneously.
