Excellent Battery. NOT a paid or reimbursed reviewer - Real Live Purchaser of this product and long-time Amazon member.

Great battery, just as good or better than originals (seems to last a tad longer). Fits my Worx weed eater and leaf blower, think model 155 or 151 - the combo deal Lowes offered back in 2014. I have bought two of these batteries now (product came with one) so have enough power to weed eat entire property all at once (about an acre). The trick to these batteries in getting long run time out of them: (1) let them cool off before recharging; (2) give them a quick charge the night before you are going to be using them (they lose a bit just sitting), and (3) ensure you have NOTHING like tall grass, string, and the like wrapped around the shaft under where the twine goes in. It seems like if the shaft has clutter wrapped around it, the battery has to work harder to try and spin, thus draining the battery much faster. Personally, all of my batteries (all this battery) last about 2 hours if the shaft is clean, and I give them a quick boost the night before using them. The gazillion dollar question that I personally cannot seem to answer or get an answer for is how to get the blasted cutting head off the weed eater in order to EASILY clean all debri from the shaft!!! NO, it is not in the owners manual. NO it is nowhere on the Worx website. NO it is not on the web or on any of the fix it answer sites - they have no clue and all think this is a gas weed eater. There is NO allen wrench nut anywhere. There is a teensy screw under the orange cap, but I can't figure out why its even there (removing it does not do anything). The people at Lowes have no clue (where I bought it from). There is an unusual looking type of reverse pattern socket hole under the cap that I kinda feel might be the answer, but no hardware store I've been to (took the weed eater with me, showed them) has a clue as to what tool might fit in there, and if that reverse pattern socket hole even has anything to do with taking the cutting head off to get to the shaft. The only solution I've come up with is to patiently use needle-nose plyers and sit for about an hour and turn the spool the opposite direction, grabbing pieces of grass/weeds wrapped around the shaft, and gently pulling them out until I can start to see the shaft itself. I know full well I'm not getting it all, but if can get most of it out, the weed eater runs much longer the next time need to use it.Any other owners of this weed eater - if you have the answer I seek, I'd be greatly appreciative of your assistance!!!Totally recommend this product at this price; it's worth having a spare and the price is fair, and these batteries are hard to find in stores at a reasonable price (if you can find one at all). NO, I am not a paid reviewer, I have no incentive to post this review other than to help other real live purchasing Amazon customers make an informed decision. Personally, I detest what Amazon is allowing to happen with the starred ratings becoming "skewed" by years and years of reviewers that have been given a product free of charge in return for an "honest" review. My review is based on my personal use of this product, and I'm taking time out of my busy schedule to try and balance the scales a bit in my own little way by helping out other real live purchasers know a TRULY GOOD product and a GOOD BUY when they read my review.

WORX GT 18v

I've owned the WA151 18v trimmer for 2 years. Right off the bat I discovered the limited time (maybe 30 mins intermittent) I could trim before the battery discharged. Had to wait for the recharge before I could continue the job. Subsequently, I have searched for a replacement battery and found that the 20v WA3520 battery would work (WORX doesn't mention that on their website). Although I ordered it, I haven't received it yet so will post more when I try it out. I also found that there is an increased capacity 18v battery, WA3522 - double the WA3512, but haven't found any reference to it on the WORX site, or anywhere except for [...] (just mentioned, can't buy it), to purchase it.I like the trimmer but clearly, the battery situation is it's achilles heel. It is light weight, handy, and adaptable to trimming horizontally and vertically. It would be swell if the manufacturer had some accurate info on battery life to aid in choosing the model, their claim of "twice around a football field" is questionable unless the guy was sprinting. Also, if the 20v battery would work with the 18v model and which charger you need if you switch? Their website offers no way to email them with questions which is very suspicious. What are they hiding from? Not only that, but they don't have any reference on their website to the different battery models, only high priced "kits". You can find better prices on Amazon.I give it two stars in hopes that the 20v battery solves my problem or I can find the double capacity 18v battery somewhere.Update: I got the 20v battery and it is a winner. Over 2x the run time as the 18v the trimmer came with. Love the thing now. Will be buying another 20v batt since I have a very large lot and whack the weeds often in the spring and summer.

Use this instead of the included 18V lithium batteries!!!!

It lasts considerably longer, and feels more powerful than the included 18V batteries for both the combo trimmer/edge and leaf blower. I also use the original 18V charger to charge this battery. I have read some reviews regarding the fact that the batteries do not last long, and that is likely because the charger tends to overcharge them. I use a 30 minute timer when charging the batteries, as they usually complete charging within that time frame, and I do not have to worry about overcharging them (look into the Belkin Conserve timers...they can be set to turn off in 30 minutes, 3 hours, and 6 hours). Overall, I am very happy with the battery, albeit a bit expensive, but I'd rather pay a little more for a hardworking battery than deal with mixing gas and oil.

Life of Battery exhausts to soon

The battery didn’t seem to last as long as I expected but I love the rechargeable blower.

Works well

I have a larger yard with a lot of field stone edging so my trimming actually takes as long as the mowing. At the suggestion of the previous owner, I bought a Worx trimmer and a second battery which has been a great combo. The battery charges quickly and based on other reviews I do my best to get it off the charge once the light turns green. I do also run usually run the battery to exhaustion before recharging and it appears to be working in terms of maintaining the charge. Granted, I've only owned these about six weeks, so I don't have much to offer on the long-term effectiveness.

Fearful Weeds.

Strong power source for my WORK 20V weed trimmer. 20 minutes of strong power. Not to use the battery further after my equipment stops, until recharged, or the battery can be damaged by trying to get another weed or further use of the drill, according to the consumer representative. I got tired of the 3 hour charger that came with my drill and weed eater so the WORX WA3847 20-volt quick charger was a real blessing. Two of my batteries have been charged and discharged 42 times each and are still going strong. The "weeds" want me to get a different brand so they can grow longer and taller.
