Mirror Screen Protector compatible with iPod touch (4th generation)

I have always used screen protectors on my cellphones, iPods and iPad. This however is my first mirrored screen. I am totally impressed with the results. Application can be challenging just like every other screen protectors out in the market. You have to be VERY careful to line up the holes for the camera and power up buttons. I found it easier to start with the power up button first and work my way up. Getting rid of the air bubbles is actually quite easy on the film. It seems to be a little thicker than other ones I tried. Using the enclosed plastic card I was able to squeegee the air bubbles out with scratching or applying any dents on the mirrored finish. I have a technique to get rid of those annoying tiny lint pieces. I carefully peel back the screen protector with my nails making sure not to make any contact with my fingers on the adhesive side, take a piece of scotch tape and just "tape off" the lint. This really works.The mirror finish looks just like you are looking in a mirror, and once the iPod Touch is up it looks there is nothing there. Quite impressive. These screens are extremely inexpensive and the 3rd party shipper combines shipping cost if you order more than one. Excellent product!

So I ordered this not even a week ago, showed up yesterday, been working with it since i'll update it soon, but there is something different between what you see on the page and what you get in the packaging, I thought it was cute with the packaging because it was literally a letter sized envelope. It didn't come with microfiber or a little hard piece of plastic for applying the protector so i used a credit card, worked like a charm, hard to see the air bubbles though. It looks fantastic but the ambient light sensor isn't cut out in the protector.It was CHEAP like not even a dollar, and it had free shipping so what can I expect from a protector? It works better than I imagined it and it didn't even cost that much.It would be 5 stars if it looked as advertized on the page. It's just that good, highly recommended unless you use auto brightness

This is a MUST for anyone who likes things to look sleek and uniform. It goes with the back of your Ipod so it just looks as if the entire thing is made from chrome. It acts as a privacy filter, people who are far away only see a mirror. When the screen is off it looks as if your ipod is a mirror just as described. When you turn it on however if your screen is to dim or you are in bright sunlight you will have some difficulty viewing the screen. I have my screen brightness set just a little below half and can still see the screen fine in most situations, If you turn it up all the way you will have no problem. Everyone comments on it and loves it! Only draw back is that it gives it a slight rainbow effect as you will see a spectrum of colors when ever there is something white on the screen, however If ind it kind of cool. Either way this is A MUST for most.

Pros:1) Shipped fast2) Easy to apply, with minimal tiny bubbles - I think I have 3 - though this would vary by the application person's expertise in applying these - this was my first3) Fit well & stuck well to the iPod Touch 4g4) GREAT price - I paid just over a $15) The mirror image is not perfect, but in my opinion as close as you can get it for something that isn't really a mirror. No real distortions - pretty accurate mirrored imageCons:1) Outside in the bright sun, it is quite difficult to see your actual screen/icons to maneuver around, change music, etc. I assume that's due to the sun bouncing off the mirror part, making it nearly impossible to see, even if you tilt/turn/shade it some with your hand. I'd say I get about a 20% visibility.I would recommend this item IF the person doesn't plan on using the iPod with this Screen Protector outdoors much. However, if they will, I would look at different protectors. I guess you have to weight the cost & pros/cons - the price was great, but the usability for me didn't match the low price.As for myself, I'm in the market for a different one, as I need to see it outside also.

Great price for how many you get! I love this screen protector, it's so cool and I get a lot of compliments on it. A lot of people actually get confused and don't realize it's a mirror and for whatever reason they think they're seeing through it, it's amusing. I change it to a new one every few months. It does scratch pretty easily which isn't surprising but eventually it kind of reaches a point where it doesn't anymore. It is really easy to see your screen if you're indoors but not so easy to see if you're outside and it's kinda bright out. That's the only bad thing but then again it's mirrored so what do you expect. I would recommend this for an iPod but not an iPhone as it would probably be difficult to text outside whereas you don't have that with iPods.

The screen cover is pretty good. There isn't actually a third cutout in it like the picture shows, there is only 1 for the front acing camera and 1 for the home button. The mirror is very reflective and actually shows a clear reflection, unlike other mirror screen covers in which the reflection would be blurry. The problem that I had was not with the screen cover itself, but with mirror screen covers in general. You can't use these outside unless you have your brightness on max (which kills your ipod battery life). Even if there isn't that much light in the room, the screen still becomes really hard to see. It also scratches fairly easily, but aside from these there aren't any major issues.

This mirror Screen protector is great! I know some people have written reviews saying it has bubbles and it doesn't fit ECT... their MORONS!!! It fits and they probably got bubbles in it because they put it on wrong!! mine had a bubble because I started to put it on wrong but I just smoothed it out and it was fine. it has like 2 or 3 tiny bubbles but they are barley noticeable, only someone with OCD would have a fit over that. The only draw back is it makes it very hard to see the Ipod screen in very bright sunlight but if you don't need to use it much outside in the bright sun then it's the prefect screen protector and the for the price you can't go wrong.
