I trust the Remington brand as an affordable line of hair tools. I have owned their flat irons and wands before so this purchase was a no brained.It gets hot relatively quickly and allows you to change the temperature in intervals.It’s not easy to burn yourself on this wand unless your technique is off. I want my hair and I don’t even use the glove and it still curls the ends. Be mindful of how you hold it.The only feature I wish was available was one that my previous wand had - it would beep when it reached the temperature you set it to. Other than that, this product is affordable and great.

I prefer my curling iron with the clamp. I don't really get the idea of a hair product that comes with a thermal safety glove. This product had some scary warnings on the package about burning hazards, so after those I wasn't really motivated to learn how to use it after that.

I have used a curling iron my entire life, but I could not manage this styler at all. It was very difficult to hold the hairs while twisting the wand with the glove on. Heat still came through even when using the glove; enough so that I didn't want it to touch my skin. I have straight hair, and the small section that I was able to curl came out nice, but it went practically straight in a matter of two hours. I had put lots of hairspray on it, but the minute I went to touch up some of the curls with my fingers, it went almost straight. When I use my curling iron and put on lots of hairspray, I have bouncy waves that last all day.
