HPLaserJet M209dwe Wireless Black & White Printer with 6 Months Instant Toner Included with HP+

This printer was incredibly easy to set up and prints incredibly fast. The HP app was easy to navigate and the instructions only consist of a few steps which are easily followed. Whilst there were some connection issues on my end, as my WiFi is slow at times, this was easily resolved as the printer comes with it's own I.P address that be connected to directly; which allowed me to send the print order over very quickly and with no issue. The only issue I had was that the printer came with two stickers affixed to the front advertising various hp services, as these somewhat compromised the aesthetics of a pleasantly design printer I removed them. However this required a good amount of time, as well as an alcohol spray to remove the residual adhesive.

It was not explained before I purchased this printer that it is a contract printer, and the prices for number of prints were ridiculous. Also could not find how to get the free 6 months toner. After first use it developed a fault which I could not clear. Printer returned

Had a problem with the first one. Was printing horribly. Contacted customer service and sent that back and got another. Worked better this time.I use it for toner foil art, it works good but doesn't always print perfectly which wastes materials.Overall - I wouldn't purchase this one again. I'd spring for something with better print quality since that's very important for foiling.

A printer first and foremost should print. I have had my new printer for a couple of weeks with the instant ink service enabled and every time I go to print something the printer has lost connection with the wifi.Now it has stopped because it wants me to rethink my monthly subscription despite the fact that i have only used 125 pages of the 1500 pages available on my free six month trial.This is an awful wasteful system. Printers by their very nature can cycle between heavy and light usage it seems incredibly invasive to have the app stop your printer from working because it wants to sign you up to a higher subscription. My subscription is set low because on average, month to month I am a low user. But this system means that if I have one heavy month the printer experience is going to be hampered by these alerts despite me still being within my page limits. And how does it alert you... by printing a page. Ridiculous!Update - Printer just outright refusing to print now. Tells me to login into my account i have done that, have even set my subscription to the most expensive option matching the six month free trial subscription and still it won't print. But if I press the 'i' button it prints a page telling me the printer won't print! So it can actually print it just won't because the software and the system are deeply flawed. I feel so completely cheated to have bought and paid for a device that is being actively restricted by the company providing it.Am returning the printer to the sellers, and now have to also arrange collection seperately of the ink cartridges because of the flawed subscription service.

I was a little wary due to some reviewers saying it was very difficult to set up the app and get it working, but to my experience this was a breeze to set up and get running.In fairness I already had a HP account for my inkjet with an Instant Ink account so it was just a case of connecting it to my computer via WiFi and adding it to my HP Account. Those without an account will have to register and set up a payment method for Instant Ink which I highly recommend as Toner and Inks can be so expensive.I ran a print from the HP Smart app via my phone totally wireless and it was quick and very well printed.It's a great inexpensive laser printer that works straight out of the box.

I bought an Amazon refurbished unit which was like new, so very cheapThe printer is small, well built and best of all responds to printing requests from my iPhone even though it hasn’t been used for days without needing to turn it back on. Comes with a printer ink deal which looks sensible. I’ve always liked HP printers well made and good clear user guides.Recommended!

No complains. Bought as an upgrade to replace my old HP laser printer as wanted a wifi model. Very quiet in use. Setup was a breeze. Would definitely recommend HP printers both Laser and Ink Jet for cost and reliability. And yes my old printer is still in use but at another address. And no I have no connection to HP.

Constantly drops wifi connection. Impossible to get it back without uninstallimg and starting again. Can't seem to work just on USB and HP support pages crashing. Will get rid of once toner used up.

C'est la première fois que je passe à une imprimante laser, et je suis, dans l'ensemble, plutôt satisfait ! La qualité d'impression est au rendez-vous, ainsi que la vitesse d'impression et la facilité d'installation, grâce à l'appli dédiée HP Smart.Cependant, j'ai pu remarquer quelques soucis d'envois de fichiers de temps à autre : j'imprime à partir de mon ordinateur, mais même après quelques minutes : l'imprimante ne répond pas. Il faut alors la redémarrer pour qu'elle lance ces impressions. Malgré ces rares soucis, je ne peux que la recommander.

Bei diesem Drucker wurde ich angenehme, überrascht. Ich wollte unbedingt einen HP Drucker er sollte doppelseitig drucken können und nicht allzu langsam sein.Dieses Gerät lässt hier keine Wünsche offen. Ich finde die Verarbeitung besser als bei den Geräten vor zehn oder mehr Jahren. Es macht alles Sinn, dass Design ist ziemlich neutral.Ich drucke über Wi-Fi und nutze auch den Instant Ink Service von HP. Das Setup war ausgesprochen einfach. Man muss einfach nur der Anleitung folgen.Die Druckgeschwindigkeit ist überraschend gut. Beim doppelseitigen Druck hat man verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten. Aber das ist ja heutzutage fast selbstverständlich.Sofern ich keinen Fehler beim Setup gemacht habe und das Handbuch nicht falsch verstanden habe, bietet dieser Drucker aber nur 600 dpi. Für Texte vollkommen ausreichend. Wer aber Grafiken oder schwarz-weiß Fotos in Dokumente einbinden möchte, wird schnell an die Grenzen dieses Geräts kommen.Ich finde den Preis mehr als okay. Das Gerät ist klein, stabil, arbeitet zuverlässig und ist auch relativ leise.Das hab ich nicht erwartet. Ich bin insgesamt positiv überrascht.

The device will do whatever the automatic firmware update tells it to do, not what you want it to do. If you the device does not have access to the internet it will not work! If you don't have an HP account, the device won't work! If you don't subscribe to HP instant ink, the device will not work!HP forces you to connect to the internet to shiv new firmware down your throat at any time without consent! After 1 such update, the device started automatically cancelling all my print jobs. Why? Because I had not signed up for an HP account. What the f...!?
