Perfect!
I’ve been using Ugly Stiks for decades. This is my first time using a spinning rod. I recently purchased two of the all new Penn Battle iv DX 6000 reels. So I got two Ugly Stik 20-50lbs rods for them to saddle up to. Perfect. The rods came boxed with plastic wrap on them. I inspected them and the eyes and all good. Great product, packaging rough...
I've used-and loved-Ugly Stiks for years, no issues. I purchased this one to match a new Penn reel. The rod looks okay, but the package was in bad shape. The outer and inner box were bent on each end, and the thicker angled inner packaging "rib" was broken almost in half. I checked the rod and guides and they seem no worse for the wear. If all is well, I KNOW I'll love this rod too! Just an FYI on the packaging...

Very good rod
I do a lot of deep sea fishing and I have been using this rod for few weeks now, its holding up great.Iv used it to catch blue fish, Scup fish(Porgies), Strippers, Sand Sharks, Seabass, Flukes, Atlantic Cods.I am very Satisfied with this rod, It doesn't bend like crazy when you catch a fish got a good kick to it, it casts nicely for its size, This rod improved my casting on rock fishing.Highly recommend it, if your always on a boat fishing or rock fishing.
