Overall i am satisfied. I bought this pen over the other version ...
After using this pen for about a month. Overall i am satisfied. I bought this pen over the previous version because it seemed thinner and lighter to use. This pen has saved me a lot of time from typing my notes, it is worth the money. Although, after 4 hours of using it non-stop(and i mean non-stop lots of pages) it does stop working, and the pen gets warm. However, i let it cool off and it starts working again, but it works way more than not when it gets warm. I recommend it.

Is it too much to ask that a scanning pen scan?
Is there a trick to this scanner that isn't included in the user manual? Received this today. Downloaded the software, plugged it in to a USB as directed. Started testing its ability to scan....nothing. Tried it again, it read three letters of a sentence. Managed to scan a few sentences, then it stopped working. Really? I think this will be going back.

What a frustrating disappointment
Purchased this item to facilitate my dissertation work. Took more than 5 hours to download and install the software. Was finally successfully after numerous attempts, then could not get the software to recognize the C Pen TS1 in the C Pen Core. As such, never got the C Pen TS1 to work. What a disappointment.

Better CPen
I owned a previous version of this pen. The previous model was cordless and had a memory feature but was clumsy. I got frustrated when Ectaco stopped upgrading the software. I really like the current TS1 model. At this point I prefer the simple design including the cord. I use it with my Macbook and it works well. I highly recommend this product to anyone plowing through school work or work. Great for journal writing, blogging, etc.
