Renewing a slightly misplaced set from 2011 because they are great tools.
I owned one of these that I purchased from Other Wold Computing online back in 2011 when I made the mistake of purchasing apple products and not wanting to pay their extra price for cheaper made SSD's and ram so I needed to crack open the macbooks. Anyways, through the years they served me greatly. I eventually built my own pc last year (you can see it on my profile through other reviews) and these were perfect for everything I needed. However, I somehow misplaced the case years ago and lost all the extra stuff aside from the green pry tools and screwdriver set. Well, I did misplace one of the screwdrivers too after trying to bring them back from a deployment where I bought the overpriced macbook from while in the military. Since I just moved to another state, I figured it was time to look for some new tools for my next PC build. I ended up keeping it simple and going with the exact same ones I already had because I knew how good they were and I wanted the case for them too. They are magnetic, and everything fits securely in the case. The top red part on the screwdrivers does turn so you can use it in your palm and turn the screwdrivers freely. The pry tools are great. My old ones from 2011 had a little wear on them, so it's nice to have some new ones. But they do last and I could have kept the old one I still had (yes, I misplaced one of those too)I know these tools are not the easiest to find when searching for computer tools or PC stuff, but I highly recommend them over any other ones. I tried one when I got all my pc parts because I thought I would need a static band, but the tools were pure junk. Just keep it simple, be smart, touch the case you are working in and wear gloves when building.

Useful set of repair tools; small kit so be sure it includes all the parts needed
I bought this to easily remove the mainboard from a pair of 2011 Apple Mac Minis, so I could replace the hard drive with an SSD upgrade. All of the drivers have nice handles, and the metal tips are sturdy (not soft tips that will wear out after removing a few screws... yes, that's really a problem with the sub $10 kits from unnamed vendors). Handles all have the Newer logo on them. The case is a medium density foam which accepts the parts snugly... things won't fall out when you unzip the case (although they could if you drop the case a few times). You may need some other parts, depending on your project. For the Mac Mini drive, I also got:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UNBTM5UIf you're not really sure what tools you need, I'd go with the more expensive larger kits, such as from Newer or iFixIt. This was all I needed, and the tools are good enough that they may come in handy some other day..

Great!
I looked all through Amazon to find a set of tools that would fit my simple needs for computer maintenance. It definitely fits the bill. Fairly inexpensive, compared to some other more "reputable" brands. And it has all the tools that I needed. The case is nice, I haven't noticed any issues with the foam falling off. However, if you don't put the supdgers in properly, they will fall out. But that is not a big deal at all. The screwdrivers themselves are fantastic. They are definitely magnetized and have worked without issue while working on my Macbook and Asus notebooks. I would most definitely recommend this product!

Great kit, Installed Samsung SSD hard drive on my Macbook Pro with this kit!
Installed Samsung SSD hard drive on my Mac with this kit! My first and only Macbook Pro 2014 was crashing and showing me the spinning wheel of death. A Mac approved dealer ran a check and confirmed that the drive was going. The estimate to replace it was close to $600. I researched the issue on the net and found several helpful articles and videos that showed how to replace it with the new one. One article recommended this tool kit. It took less than 30 minutes to replace. This kit along with the drive was about $300, so major savings on the repair for us. Now my laptop runs faster than when I first purchased it.

Very useful tool kit
I bought this kit to use during a Apple Mac Mini upgrade. I have also used it for a Sony Playstation PS4 hard drive upgrade. The tools seemed to work fine. I have rather large hands and wish the handles were a tad bigger but they were definitely OK. My only grip is the case. The screwdrivers fit very snug, almost too snug as they are a bit tight putting them back in the case. That is really OK. The spudgers and tweezers however seem to fall out of their respective spots rather easily. Overall not a big deal but ti does keep me from rating the kit as a 5. I have no regrets buying this kit.

Good tools for operating on laptops
Good tools for operating on laptops. The tools feel a bit cheap, but work as advertised. Also the foam insert is a pain to get the tools in / out of case

Got this the other day to help with replacing my 2011 mbp Hard drive. It works great. The foam that other customers reviewed negatively was glued in place firmly in my case and holds the tools firmly in place. The tips of the screwdrivers are slightly magnetic which helps me a lot because my hands shake. I have always opened up my MBP using my automotive screw drivers but the form factor and the ability of the screwtip to help hold the screw is great. The tweezers are a good heavy gauge of metal (I've gotten some really cheap ones in the past you always have to bend back in shape.Overall a nice kit in a nice case to keep everything together as long as you put it back.

Excellent kit...
This is one of those items you buy and then realize you needed to have it a lot earlier. I wish I had bought this a long time ago. My only complaint is the foam cut outs don't hold the tools exactly right, but come on we are men and these are tools. Plus for the price I didn't expect it to be perfect. All the tools work fine, and are of a quality you would expect for a kit this price. No regrets!
