XtremeAmazing 16 Pcs Stainless Exhaust Manifold Stud Nuts kit for Ford 4.6 & 5.4 Liter V8 2 Manifolds

Got tired of broken studs on my manifolds on my Ford 5.4L so bought this kit. They are stainless steel so are of better quality than the OEM ones. Installation is not for noobs. No more leaks from my exhaust manifold gaskets or broken studs. Time will tell if they last. Have driven about 15000 miles with no problems so far.

I replaced my exhaust studs on 5.4 F-150 when installing headers. These were easy to use with the socket head end. No complaints and time will tell on longevity. Watch the install on YouTube: Mustangjackson67

Studs and nuts easily threaded easily.So, quality of stainless unknown. studs are metric 8.5 1.25 thread pitch as stated. So , if you encounter broken off studs that require drilling and taping, purchase a plug tap 8.5 1.5 tap with a 6.75 mm drill bit . I suggest using A high temp thread compound . lastly , the nuts provided do not need washers.

purchased as replacement part to install new exhaust manifolds. hoping that being stainless they will last and allow me to remove manifolds if they are to fail later on in life, as I purchased after market manifolds.

These are sold as manifold studs. They are not. They’re just short pieces of all stainless thread, shipped with cheap nuts. They’ll probably work, but they’re not what I was expecting.
