There is one lesson I have taken from reading this book. People know when to shop, they just don’t know how to dress. People of Walmart, you are funny and stupid.Also never work at Walmart.

I enjoy People of Walmart, but just like on the site, some of the featured photos are not that funny. The book had many "classics" (like the back boobs photos, obnoxious t-shirts, scary hair, makeup and clothes, and Willy the Pimp) but some of the others were sort of meh. I assume that perhaps there were some rights issues with some of the photos (getting permission to publish) but I really don't know. And some of the stories were not that outstanding either. (The story about the Subway employee reporting on the weird sandwich a customer ordered every day was my favorite.)I'd say that for me, perhaps 75% of the content was PoWM at its best.The thing is, I suspect that everyone who gets this book will have a different idea of *what* 75% (or whatever percentage they designate) is classic PoWM. So because of that, I'd say that for most fans of PoWM, this book has *enough* of the good stuff to make it worth buying, but don't expect that every photo is a winner, because I don't think it is.The book looks nice, with raised lettering on the cover and decent quality paper. (It doesn't look shoddily made or cheap.)

I had seen some of these type of pictures before via e-mail but never seen it in person. I guess I just wanted a little more insight into why people would go out in public like this. Hey, I'm not against dressing a bit 'weird'. I like bright colors, mis-matched socks, etc. My husband swore it must be somewhere like Kentucky that the pictures were taken. My daughter lives in Brodhead & shops Walmart in Berea, KY, and she's never seen anything even close to this. Well, I did not get any insight into the why's, I guess some people just don't care. I liked the book well enough and if I think I'm going somewhere that may be a bit boring, I take the book. I also have it on my coffee table - it's a great conversation maker.

I had to laugh when Amazon asked me if there was sexual content. Does the words on people's t-shirts count, or the man bending over with his butt crack showing count. I got it for bathroom reading. My brothers would love it, my mother would hate it. It's just plan scary to see how people dress in WalMart

Some photos are really funny, like the Web site, but others are mean, & several are “OMG-racist” category. I intended it as a gift, but thought “uh-uh!”...

Only at Walmart could you experience some of these oddball stories and the odd fashion senses and people you see within. Honestly parts are mean spirited I think but all in all it's just sharing the experience you can only get at Walmart. A good solid 4 stars and good for some laughs and baffled head shakes when needed.

this books is cute to give to someone not familiar with the website, but familiar with the people of walmart. I bought it for my mom for xmas after she discovered the site. its a good book, captions are funny but some of the pictures are way too dark to be able to tell what is going on. granted pictures on teh website will be lighter and brighter due to monitor back light, but the designer who put the book together should have used photoshop to lighten the images. (i work at a print company)

I bought this book to give as a birthday present to a friend who sends me a lot of emails featuring crazily dressed people (of questionable intelligence and doubtful sophistication)who shop at Walmart. Of course, I browsed through it briefly before wrapping it, and it was hilarious. She and her husband are still enjoying this book. Thanks for making it available to shoppers like me. Ich habe mir die meisten Bilder schon online angesehen und bin von dem Büchlein nicht begeistert. Liegt schon im Altpapier. Es handelt sich einfach nur um eine Ansammlung grottenschlechter Handy-Bilder, zum Teil ist fast nichts zu erkennen. Da spare man sich lieber die Geld und sehe sich das online an. Die Auflösung ist hundertmal besser. Liegt bei mir schon im Altpapier.
