The SLIM PRO 12000 is recommended for 60 gallons or less. I would go for the SLIM PRO 15000 just in case you need more flow for certain plants, and you can always turn it down.

You're not alone. I've never gotten the app to work well.

if 2 sets for 180gal, we suggest choose the model 15000. As pump heads are controlled different controller, they work independently. so can not run opposite of each other.

Saltwater I've got not clue but freshwater I would say 10 gallon
