Rocket Dog Women's Tessa Chelsea Boots

Fab boots. I'm still in the process of wearing them in so will update if there's any defects apparent in a few months. Right now they seem sturdy and well made. Had a slight problem with fit on arrival but that's my feet not the boots as I have a high instep especially on my left foot but nothing a long handled shoehorn and softening spray hasn't fixed. As they're synthetic leather (apparently) I've been using Foot Matters softening spray which is working well. I'm finding them a good workout to wear as they are sturdy boots and I usually wear Converses! All in all no complaints and quite reasonable for the price.Update now as several months on. Still going strong with no defects from wear and very comfortable :)

Lovely sturdy winter boot , fit is true to size with normal socks on. Looks a good and expensive boot , looks lovely with a pair of skinny jeans and chunky knit. Perfect winter boots for walks and rainy days

Lovely good quality boot and good grippy sole. Quite a tight fit to slip on but once foot in is very comfy. Only negative I had was the top of the shoe was quite stiff and dug into my legs when testing out which was uncomfortable and they didn't feel like the leather would relax after a long time so I returned them. Otherwise very nice pair of boots.

I am really pleased with my boots. They are extremely comfortable, fit true to size. The colour is a lovely dark red. I love them. Well worth the money.

Good fit! At first it felt like they ran a little long and narrow, but they just needed some breaking in. Hopefully they last because they feel very sturdy, and there was almost no “wearing them in” pain which I find is almost unavoidable with boots this style!

So firstly, the good bits.. these boots are the comfiest boots i've ever bought for work! I wore them every day since October 5th, for 12 hours a day minimum. The have so much grip which is perfect for our slippery floors. From the first time putting them on I have never had a blister, and they don't need breaking in. I have slightly wide feet too and these fit perfectly.The bad bits.. 2 months in, during the wetter weather, I noticed my feet started getting damp. I have to walk outside as part of my job so just assumed i'd maybe walked in a puddle that was too deep. I was wrong. Every day the damp feet got worse and eventually it got to the point my socks were soaking wet at the end of the day. I couldn't find anywhere that the water was getting in - the boots still looked perfect! After much frustration I eventually realised the whole top of the shoe was coming away from the sole, all around - letting in water from the seams, and in return making my feet wet.To top it all off - even the faux leather has started peeling away on top of the boot making them look very tacky.I was just about to order another pair purely based on the fact how comfy they were and how much grip they gave me - to find they have gone up by £20 in price! They are definitely not worth what they are being advertised for, and I am absolutely gutted they only lasted 2 months!

Bit disappointed with the quality. After just 2 wears the stitching/fabric started to fray. Otherwise very uncomfortable and fit as expected but probably wouldn't buy Rocket Dog stuff again.
