Kalorik Kitchen Things Red Metallic Heart Shape Waffle Maker

Being a Norwegian I know how heart shaped waffles are supposed to be (remember cardamom in the batter!). I have grown up on these waffles over the last 50 years from Norwegian made Wilfa waffle makers. They are 220v and $250! I've been trying to find one that can work for me here in the US which means I have bought and returned 4 waffle makers. Either the heart shaped molding is off resulting in imperfect hearts,or they heat up unevenly. I had given up and saw this one at $25. I thought I had nothing to lose so I got one. Was I ever wrong! Perfect size, a little shallow heart molding but close to perfect still. Heats up well and has been making perfect heart shaped waffles since I got it! The irons I had tried in the past were in the $50 - $100 range but this one blows the socks off all of them! And my daughter loves the color of this waffle iron. It's ruby red. Cute I'm told. If this iron stops working after a couple of months I will be back removing stars. Right now I'm making waffles for breakfast and they look and smell like $100, literally?Update. Still going strong

This product is made in China. It is pretty to look at but not very effective at making waffles. A definite fire hazard, it heats up very hot, and is a burn risk. Don’t buy it.

I gave this waffle iron to my granddaughter for her 11th birthday and she loved it !

Bought this for my mom and she loved it! Cutest waffle award goes to my mom! You could say she waff-fell in love with it!

Very disappointing. We bought this to replace the same type of waffle iron we have used for over five years because the coating was coming off. We loved this waffle maker so much we gave two as gifts to other family members. This new one, however doesn’t brown well except on the bottom even when turn up as high as it goes. The waffles don’t stick, and that’s good. But we are about to go back to our old one. This new one just isn’t the same quality as our old one.

I was happy to receive the Kalorik Heart Shaped Waffle Maker. The red color is bright and easy to work with. The temperature control is easy to adjust. The end product - Heart Shaped Waffles - make a statement in that not onlyare the waffles evenly browned and tasty, but cute to serve as well! My guests enjoy the uniqueness! Thanks!!

Not as handy as my last heart shape iron. Controls arent user friendly. High priced
