I read the good reviews as well as the bad ones. I see nothing wrong with the scent. Actually, it smells like I'm cooking or baking something. I'm a heavy smoker, and use this before having company. (So as not to 'choke' them with smoke). My last visitor even asked if I quit smoking. Obviously, she couldn't smell cigarette smoke. I'm happy with this and will order more.

I had an extended stay in a hotel for 4 months with the Army. My room smelled like smoke, and all other rooms were booked. I used one can of this and the vast majority of the scent was gone. I don't know about the other reviewer who prefers ozium, but I've used three ozium scents (new car, original, and vanilla) and I think they're disgusting compared to this.

I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because while it does a great job of covering up smoke odor, it does so rather obviously. I've gotten busted twice trying to use this to cover up the smell of smoke. Either your whole house will smell like coffee (which isn't a bad idea) or it will smell like smoke. But it's a hell of a lot better than Febreeze or other air fresheners at killing smoke odor - so if that's your goal, get this!

It not only over powers my wife’s cigarette smoke but eliminates my cigar smoke as well and leaves a pleasant vanilla smell in the room.

Ok, but has an after smell that's a little overwhelming, but if used in plenty of time is pretty good.

Purchased for son to rid his garage of odor from where he and others go to smoke cigarettes which isn’t allowed in his home.

Worthless, save your money and instead go buy a can of Febreze for half the price. I live in CA where the weather is nice enough to leave windows open almost all year round. I live on the top floor in an apartment complex. The neighbors below smoke on their balcony so the smoke blows upward into my apartment. I've sprayed my living room and balcony every night until the can was empty... lasts just a little while, then I have to spray again when they light up. I end up suffocating from so much spray. Makes we wonder which is the lesser of two evils, the spray or the smoke. Ultimately, I just have to close my windows until they're done indulging their filthy habit. Lawmakers should ban cigarettes instead of pot. Big waste of money buying this stuff. It may be good in a closed room if you're a smoker trying to hide the smell from someone but the scent is pretty strong so the cover up may be obvious.

Works great. Vanilla scent is really subtle and pleasant. A lot of similar sprays are to strong or the smell is awful this stuff is just right and lasts a long time.
