This would be great if you could change settings on the camera itself. And the connectivity issues the camera has makes a simple process take way too long. Since you need to connect the camera to a phone, tablet or iPad, you may as well just hit record on that. Unnecessary and expensive.

It worked fine with my Nikon KeyMission 360 camera - HOWEVER - you MUST pair your phone FIRST - THEN this remote control.Great for taking remote shots so your hand is not in the way.

didnt come with manual , need to call hotline for instruction, you pretty much better off use cell phone app for remote control. it is good only wen you are in action ,cant not hold a cell phone or when you are far away from the cam

ML-L6 reviewBought this at a local camera store. No user manual was included on how to pair it with the Keymission 360. After extensive searching of the Nikon web site, even Nikon had no user manual to download. I find out that the user manual included with my Keymission 360 had instructions for pairing with the remote. Of course, the user manual included with mine had very little reference to pairing with the ML-L6 remote, and was very vague.I contacted the camera store and let them know my problem, they were good enough to email me a Keymission 360 user manual that actually had detailed instructions about how to pair it with the ML-L6, they mentioned that Nikon was NO help in finding this hard to acquire information.Now, here's the part where I give this product a 1 star, I'd give it a negative 1 if I could. The remote will NOT pair with the camera!! I tried every method in the instruction manual several times (correctly) and no connection. The green light on the remote blinks for a while, then stops and the camera blinks red indicating no connection. I even did a factory reset on the camera and bought new batteries for the ML-L6, same result. The smartphone app is almost as bad because it is hard to get camera and smart device to connect, when it does, it takes a long time.

Ja, man möchte es kaum glauben, wenn man die Bewertungen (nicht nur hier meine Amazon) ließt. Aber nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der Kopplung, oder mit dem "Verstehen", wie Nikon sich das "gedacht" hat, läuft es am Ende doch. Und wie mir scheint auch stabil.Daher gehe ich großzügige 4 Sterne.Aber es dürfte nur 1 Stern für die Funktionsweise geben.Es dauert einfach viel zu lange, bis die Kamera auf das Einschalten per FB reagiert. Man muss immer min. ein "Probefoto" machen um sicher zu sein, dass die Kamera an ist.Kurzes drücken reicht nicht, man muss eine gefühlte 1/2 Sekunde drücken, bis die Befehle "erkannt" werden.Wäre ich ein Weltkonzern wie Nikon, ich würde mich schämen, so was unreifes auf den Markt zu bringen.Am Ende funktioniert alles, aber es ist weit davon Entfernung intuitiv und für den Benutzer gefühlt "sicher" zu funktionieren.Würde ich die FB noch einmal kaufen?Nein!Macht es mit den Tasten der Cam und fragt den Kumpel nebenan, ob das Ding aufnimmt. Alles andere ist verschwendete Lebenszeit ... meiner persönlichen Meinung nach.

das koppeln mit der Fernbedienung ist etwas knifflig, aber wenn man das Referenzhandbuch (nur per download erhältlich) liest wird alles klar und einfach. Die Bedienung ist einfach und auch mit Handschuhen möglich. Achtung der Einschaltvorgang dauert etwas lang und man darf nicht ungeduldig sein - mein Tipp: ca 2sec on/off bis die grüne LED an der Fernbedienung blinkt und dann auf das Kamerasysmbol drücken -> Kamera schaltet sich umgehend ein. Diese wird leider im Referenzhandbuch nicht beschrieben.Für den Wintersport ein absolutes Muss ist die Handgelenkshalterung, den man will ja nicht jedesmal in der Jackentasche nach der Fernbedienung suchen ;-)Einen Punkt muss ich wegen der schlechten Beschreibung in der Kurzanleitung abziehen.

Ho acquistato questo telecomando pensando che andasse bene per la mia macchina NIKON P900. Invece per questa macchina ci va il telecomando ML-L3 - quindi dovrò di nuovo comprarlo - Se c'è qualcuno a cui interessa il ML-L6 - lo vendo . ciaoo

No instructions included, I could not paired to the camera, what a waste of money. Nikon USA has not been helpful at all, the iPhone app and the remote do not get along.
