I read complaints about the mesh or sturdiness. I think people want solid wood for the price of nothing. This is great for the price. My toddler loves it. It holds up well. It is smaller. It is not for an adult or older teen. But it is nice and it is mesh and cheap. So as long as you know that you will be happy.

Holds more then I expected. As sturdy as any pop up laundry basket. Goes perfect with our kids lightening McQueen/cars theamed room. Would buy again if needed

Over the years, we've had other 'pop-up' hampers and I just assumed this would be about the same size and quality. I couldn't be more wrong. Pay attention to the dimensions, it's very tiny,13"x13". It is extremely poorly made and flimsy as other reviewers have pointed out. It's actually dangerous in my opinion, NO TODDLER SHOULD BE ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR THIS THING. It could literally poke an eye out. The metal wire has already popped out and detached from the fabric along the seam. The older models were made out of nylon mesh, and held up well. I'm not sure what you call this type of 'fabric'. After less then 48 hours of gentle hamper use, it's getting returned on principal alone. Normally I wouldn't care about a $6.xx refund, not worth my time and effort to pack it up, but Amazon needs to pay attention to these cheap, poorly made and dangerous products that are targeted to young children.

Cheap, but for a legitimately good reason.I have used these pop up hampers MANY times. They are usually the least expensive themed laundry hampers to coordinate with a room. Along with having the largest variety of themes. However, they aren't made of Kevlar. They rip and tear very easily. If they are "played with" too much, the wires will poke/bust out. While they absolutely can survive most tears if they aren't too big, once the wire is gone, that's it.What I have found causes the most wear and tear is actually using the hamper to carry laundry to and from the washer. The handles, for me, have always been the first to go. Now, whatever hip hamper I'm using I'll take to the room and dump into it.Because they're relatively inexpensive, replacement isn't too cringe worthy. For the same reason, if your little goes from Toy Story to Transformers to Star Wars, it's not too unreasonable to change with their favorites.If you're looking for the longest lasting, most sturdy, durable, high quality hamper, this is 1000% not for you. Those high end hampers are out there and cost, of course, more. Like everything, you get what you pay for.I would add, if you're a crafty person, when these eventually break/wear out/become "so when I was a baby Mom!" the netting and wire can always be repurposed.

Great hamper for my 3.5 year old son. He loves lightning mcqueen and is thrilled to have this. The hamper is a bit smaller and shorter than a standard mesh hamper but we do laundry for him so frequently it doesn’t matter as much. After a few weeks of use, it’s holding up but I would assume like any mesh hamper, over time, the mesh will get snag in things and rip. Overall, we’re happy with the hamper and it put a smile on my son’s faceUpdate 1 month later : lowered stars from 5 to 3 - the strap for the handle ripped. As I looked closer at the stitching area, I noticed it is very thinly stitched on so it was a matter of time before it ripped. This basket is only 10 feet from the laundry room and I never have it fully filled for fear of this very issue.

This is a really cute light weight hamper, I wouldn't recommend putting to much in it and trying to carry it because it could tear the mesh if to heavy, but I absolutely love this thing. It has such bright vibrant colors, we got the Minnie mouse one and it doesn't disappoint. It collapses down to be pretty darn small so you could use it as a travel hamper too if you needed just twist it up and put it in the small mesh bag that is connected on it, I recommend paying attention to how it is in the bag before you open it or else you'll probably have a heck of a time getting it back in there. Our little one loves it.

If you are in search of a small laundry basket for a child's room this is perfect for you. I have a 4 year old and his clothes for one week fill this basket. I do laundry every weekend so this works perfectly for us. He LOVES Spider-Man so, this was obviously a no Brainerd purchase.It is not incredibly sturdy. It is not large. It is not tall.It is sheer. It is perfectly sized for a child to help with thir laundry. It is brightly colored.I would absolutely recommend this to all of my friends with children.

The handles both broke at the same time just minutes after opening the box. I brought it into my son) he's 5 so i wanted a light hamper that he could carry) so i brought it to his room, put some clothes into it, maybe 3/4th full, then had him pick it up so he could see how light it is now. They both snapped immediately. What a waste of timeExtremely useles...

The handles rip easy when clothes are put in. We don't fill the hamper to the top or it's too heavy. Just wish it was more durable. The mesh sides rip easy too. It's cute if you don't plan to full it with laundry more than halfway.

I like it as it's not bulky but the handles have already torn off in two weeks, the last one I bought has lasted 5 years. I bought the last one for 2 dollars at the dollar store paid way more for this one, very disappointed.

This product has very light weight mesh that ripped as soon as my three year old touched it. You were just using it to store stuffed animals. She only picked it up one time. It only had the weight of about three or four pounds inside. The stitching is very poor quality.Overall the product is very cute. As long as you aren't picking it up a lot it should be fine.

Bonne expérience. Le sac à linge rempli son mandat, mais lorsque qu'il est plein nous pouvons sentir que le tissu est à sa limite de résistance et pourrait possiblement déchirer. Asser grand pour 1 enfant, mais acheter plusieurs ou un plus grand si vous avez plus d'un enfant à s'en servir.

Good hamper but it came all wrinkled and the handles are too long they should be closer to the body of the hamper because they pose as a strangulation hazard.
