Adam’s Swirl Killer 15mm Polisher - Orbital Polishing Paint Correcting Buffer Tool - Car Scratch Remover, Correcting Polish - Use Post Car Wash Clay Bar & Pre Wax or Ceramic Coating (Ultimate Kit)

I bought the Adam's Swirl Killer 15mm to do a bit more correction that my Griot's 6" DA (8mm throw I think). I saw a positive you tube review that said it stalls less than the Rupes and Griot's 15mm and read all of the perfectly positive Amazon reviews so I figured it's a safe bet. Well, I don't know if I got a defective unit or not, but this DA seems to stall way too easily on body lines and even flat panels when not at an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT position. Even in a good position on a flat panel when the disc is rotating freely, if I apply even slightly moderate pressure the rotation stalls out. On some slightly curved panels like the hood, it seems I could only use one hand on the handle and even felt like I had to lift the DA a bit to lighten the pressure of the units weight. I did two cars, and it was absolutely frustrating to use. I don't have the same issue with my Griot's so I don't think it's bad technique. Maybe the unit I got is defective. I even went back to the Griot's to work the larger panels and it was fine as I could use more pressure. I used the Swirl Killer with a 5" Uro-fiber 50/50 pad and finished with a black foam finishing/polishing pad and this DA stalled with both. I'll return the unit, maybe Adam's will chalk it up to be defective and I can get one that doesn't stall so easily.

I got this on sale for $166 and for that price I am very happy with it. I have been using machine polishers for years and this is my 5th machine adding to my arsenal of 2 rotary polishers and 2 Dual Action (or random orbital) polishers.my only wish for this unit is that it had maybe 5 to 10% more power but that being said it is not inadequate. The machine has a great length for cord, has a good stroke for most correction work, and reasonably low vibration making it very easy to use. If you've never owned a polisher I'd say this is a great machine to start with. Are there better DA polishers out there? Absolutely yes. But these other machines are double the price with maybe 10 to 15% more performance. If money is no object buy one of these Italian polishers but if you want a great bang for the buck machine, this is it.

Heavy duty; seems built to last a lifetime; nice variable speed; best backplate diameter for most situations.Cheaper than top brand names (Rupes; Flex), but just as good.May also need a smaller 3-inch backplate for difficult curves, as seen in modern car bodies.Don't bother buying their cute little expensive bottles of Adams rubbing and polishing compounds, however, unless you have money to blow and your polishing needs are specialized.For the vast majority of vehicles, it would be more economical and just as effective to use any rubbing compound, sold at your local auto-supply retailer.Contrary to what Adams marketing would have you believe; cheaper brands of compounds work equally well because they are all the same.

I used to have Griots 6" polisher and kind of took a chance on Adam's, so glad I did and should have bought this polisher first. I only detail my own cars, so whenever I apply new type of sealant or coating I make sure I clean the surface by polishing. I almost regret not buying the 21mm orbit polisher, because this one is soo good.It makes less noise than Griots 6" DA and significantly less vibration.I use MF pads for cutting and foam pads for polishing; when using foam pads with this polisher the vibration is virtually non-existent.The only con is that it does stall pretty easy on body lines, but it is something you can learn to work around.My next purchase will definitely be the 3" DA swirl killer.

The media could not be loaded.  Extremely satisfied with this product! It amazed me, I’m sub contracted through a dealer that buys a lot of leased vehicles that barely see any care. So it’s my job to bring them back to life. Literally Anyone can use this. From beginners to experts. It amazes me. Extremely recommend this. I just wish it came with a couple more towels and some more detail spray. But other then that perfect the pictures and video I provided were of a Lexus that had beaten by rocks and had rock chips ALL over the from bumper and the hood. And you can see what this did. I didn’t expect it to work so well! The before and after speaks for itself!

Polisher is underpowered when it comes to vertical sections and struggles when using anything other than a foam finishing pad. The variable speed dial also has a tendency to auto increment while in use due to vibrations. I should have just spent more money and purchased a polisher from a company that makes polishers vs a branded tool like Adam's Swirl Killer.

Fast shipping from Adam's Distribution Center. 15 MM Long Throw DA exceed my expectation from quality-build standpoint: solid construction and feels good (i.e. weight) when working on vehicles couple-of-hours. The kit is cost-effective with almost everything you need to start paint-correction.

It really is all those things. Super quality product at a good price. Pads are superb as well. The velcro is VERY strong. The trigger, speed adjustment, and overall ergonomics is the best I have ever used. I have an old Bosch rotary buffer if anyone is interested.

Trigger is a bit long but the unit world as expected. Black car now virtually swirl free!

This is an amazing polisher. Great for someone who is just starting out.I wouldn't know about getting it through Amazon because when I ordered it it got sent back and refunded so I purchases it locally.But the polisher itself is great.

I have nothing else to say, it performs IDENTICAL to my Rupes, for less than half the price..
