What is the difference between this and the lenovo m73 (10ay001rus)?

There seems to be no significant obvious differences, except that the 10AY001YUS has a faster processor. It comes with an i5 processor, so will get better performance and quicker responses. Hope this helps.

What OS does this come with?

Look in the ad. Some of the old ones came with Windows 7, some of the new ones come with Win 10 Pro, some with Win 10 Home. The reseller will have to tell you. The ad you linked says: 'Windows 7 Pro 64 preload w/ Windows 8 Pro 64 RDVD, License'., so it will come with Windows 7 Professional with an update license. Normally you can update Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro, ask your IT guy.
