e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, Face Cleanser & Makeup Remover, Infused with Hyaluronic Acid to Hydrate Skin

I bought this about two months ago but wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. I’ve tried a lot of makeup removers over the years, including some much more expensive cleansing balms. I honestly didn’t expect this one to become my favorite, but it has. I massage a small amount onto dry skin, add a little warm water, and my makeup comes right off. It removes my foundation, mascara, primer, and eye makeup without rubbing or scrubbing. My skin feels clean, soft, and hydrated after I rinse it off. It never leaves that tight feeling that some cleansers do. I also like that it’s fragrance free because my skin can be sensitive. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts longer than I expected. I can definitely see why so many people love this product. For the price, I think it’s an incredible value, and I’ll be buying it again.

On my second jar, and will be needing a third soon. I love this stuff. Feels very good on my face - takes up all my makeup right away and washes away completely with warm water and a good soft face cloth. I like elf products a lot because they’re very good quality and very low cost. You can’t go wrong with this very gentle way to clean your skin.

This stuff is absolutely great! It almost melts your makeup off. And eye makeup, comes off like butter. Don't have a smell. It's clear. Kinda goes on like Vaseline, but takes your makeup right off, it just lifts the makeup off your skin. Very good product. A little goes a long way. Don't have to use very much at all. A jar will last a long time! Definitely worth the money!!

From a not huge skin care/makeup girl, this stuff is worth every penny! This is one of my only empties that I have rebought a few times. It works so well and does not bother my sensitive skin. So much better than wipes or micellar water. I love how it “melts” into your skin and rinses away completely, with no weird feeling left on your skin.

Great makeup remover — I’ve reordered this several times. It melts makeup quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. The texture is smooth and easy to work with, and it rinses off clean without a heavy residue. I like that it’s infused with hyaluronic acid, so it feels hydrating while removing everything from foundation to mascara. It’s gentle on the skin and has become one of my regular cleansing products. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that it can take a little extra massaging to break down waterproof makeup, but overall it performs really well. Overall: effective, hydrating, and a cleansing balm I keep coming back to. A solid 4 stars.

This stuff is absolutely amazing. It does exactly what it promises to do. I’ve never been able to remove my makeup (including waterproof mascara) and cleanse my face in one step, but this gets it done. Even though it turns into an oil on the face, it’s not greasy and leaves no residue. It also doesn’t leave skin feeling dry and tight. Huge bonus: This brand is vegan, cruelty free, clean and responsibly-sourced, and they support water.org’s “Get Blue” campaign for safe water access.

I’ve always been a makeup-removing balm girl, mainly because my waterproof mascara is apparently bulletproof 😂. I used to use the Farmacy Green Clean balm, but it was getting a little out of my budget, so I started using makeup wipes instead. Big mistake—having to rub my eyes so much to get my mascara off was starting to really irritate them. My friend recommended the e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, and I’m SO glad she did. It melts my makeup away so quickly and easily, including my stubborn waterproof mascara, without me having to aggressively rub at my eyes. e.l.f. specifically says the balm can break down waterproof mascara, and it melts from a solid balm into an oil before emulsifying into a milky texture that rinses away. The best part is the price. The regular 2 oz size is currently around $12 directly from e.l.f., which is way more budget-friendly for me than the Farmacy balm. I honestly wasn’t expecting to like a cheaper alternative this much, but this has completely replaced my more expensive cleansing balm. If you wear waterproof makeup and are tired of fighting with it at the end of the day, this is absolutely worth trying. My only regret is not trying it sooner!

This product looks and feels like vaseline but comes off feeling nice moisturized clean skin. I will use another face cleaner product after the fact for any excess makeup but not necessary. It literally will melt off your makeup, with constant light rubbing, getting even the mascara off. Has a bit of trouble with eyelash glue but it’s ok. I clean my eyes twice with it. A little bit goes a long way, smells nice too. Comes with a spatula and easy to apply. Works very well and deserves the 5 stars. Also container is small enough to travel with, which is a plus for taking you makeup off anywhere. Also far warning you might get a bit in your eye, no burning or irritation, just very foggy vision for a second. Rinse the eye bc makeup can be very damaging. Ok done byeee

He probado este bálsamo limpiador y me ha gustado mucho. Desmaquilla igual de bien que el Take The Day Off de Clinique, incluso maquillaje resistente, pero la textura es bastante más ligera. En mi caso se emulsiona mejor y es mucho más fácil de retirar con agua, sin dejar sensación de residuo en la piel. No me ha irritado, ni picado los ojos. Tampoco he notado tirantez después de usarlo. Por el precio que tiene me parece una opción muy buena y una alternativa perfecta a opciones mucho más caras. Sin duda lo volvería a comprar mil veces más.

Lo adoro, è meraviglioso, tanto che l’ho consigliato davvero a tutte le persone che conosco e chiunque abbia deciso di comprarlo ne è rimasto più che soddisfatto. La texture è morbida, scioglie anche il trucco waterproof, ma è al tempo stesso molto delicato. Non appanna e non brucia gli occhi e la pelle resta morbida e idratata, non tira mai dopo il lavaggio nonostante io abbia una pelle tendenzialmente secca e sensibile. This is a wonderful makeup remover. I use long lasting makeup and this takes it off first go and rinses off in warm water. Will buy again.

Alors que je déteste les baumes démaquillants, j'ai trouvé mon bonheur avec ce produit ! La texture est incroyablement agréable : vous n'avez pas l'impression de manipuler une huile solidifiée. A titre personnel, je déteste la sensation des huiles démaquillantes sur ma peau. Un peu comme le son d'une craie sur un tableau, je les ai toujours trouvé désagréables à manipuler. Avec ce baume : aucun problème. La texture est soyeuse, lactescente. L'odeur est douce et enveloppante et je n'ai pas la sensation de me torturer sur le plan sensoriel. Le pouvoir démaquillant est vraiment bon : une petite quantité de produit suffit. Le baume est très facile à émulsionner et à éliminer. Aucun fini gras ou poisseux, même en l'absence de double nettoyage (que je vous recommande quand même). Évidemment, il faudra un peu plus insister sur les textures waterproof. Un énorme coup de cœur !

Tot nu toe nog geen klachten over. Men huid voelt zacht aan na gebruik.
