Really like these little nightlights. They are very bright without being harsh so with the motion sensor feature you can easily see your way around without any additional lighting without getting too awake if you get up during the night. The one we have in the hall bathroom is especially helpful since we have a relatively noisy fan on the same switch as the light so with the nightlight whoever goes in the bathroom can do whatever they need to without turning on the light/fan and disturbing anyone else. The flashlight feature comes in handy with power outages or if you just need a handy little flashlight. Additionally the nightlight charges when plugged in and not in use- it turn on if the electricity goes out to function as an emergency light source. They will actually last quite a long time too- during the recent series of nor’easter storms we lost power for several days and two of them remained lit for over 24 hours. The only drawback for me personally is that even though they produce a soothing blue light I find them too bright to have on in the same room for sleeping, but this is easily solved by using the motion sensor setting. Several overnight guests have commented on them and wanted to know where to get a set. The older ones were a two piece design that would block both outlets, but the newer one piece design is more compact and with a little finesse you can use the lower outlet. Overall a great little nightlight.

We love these lights! We just got back from a vacation in a very remote part of Panama, and there was one of these lights in the bathroom. We liked it so much that I wrote down the model number and ordered the 3 pack as soon as we got home. Here is what I love: the light has a motion sensor, so it doesn't bother you unless you move around, the night light is very bright so you get plenty of light when you need it, it goes off quickly when you leave the area so you can go back to sleep. We put a string of them through the house so that they light a path if you get up at night. It also doubles as a very bright flashlight. Excellent product!

I love everything about these night lites. I never realized just how great they are until I was walking from my bedroom to the living room one night and BOOM! A loud crack and all electricity was gone! By the time I said “Ahh” the place lit up with white lights glowing perfectly well. I could see everything. I stopped and looked about me in amazement. First Wondering what had happened and seconds later saying to myself, “Oh! So this is how it looks when they are the only thing on”. I could see clearly. I remembered another woman who tripped in the dark over her own chair and fell into the Coffee table and broke her neck. She was paralyzed for two years and then passed away. I was her Nurse. She told me “Never walk in the dark”. And you know what? I don’t. I have these amazing lights in every room in my house. They are attractive. I LOVE the BLUE light and I am safe in the WHITE Light. My son has them in his two story house also. They are worth every penny!! I Rate them a Ten of all STARS.

Keep one by my bed and in the bathroom so I don't wake the family up in the middle of the night. Nice to see where I'm going without looking for a lamp or wall switch ! The motion activation is quick to respond. Light is more than enough to see where I'm going and do what I need to do.. I love that it is also a flashlight when you need one. Great for when the power goes out. I am very happy with this product.

Have one in the garage/motion detection is great as entering and approaching the door to the house entrance door; one in the guest room and one plugged into the bar near the bottom of the stairs going downstairs. These lights are power-outage necessities. Have purchased them as home-warming gifts too. Works as illumination and/or flashlight. Truth, You need these in your abode.

They seem to work well, but there is one thing to note. If you try to test the power failure mode by just unplugging the unit, the light will not come on if you are in a well lit room. The power failure light comes on only in the dark. I have had other power failure lights and they came on when there was no power - regardless of the ambient light. This may not be a big deal since one would assume it's dark when the power goes out. However, this is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. It only says the light comes on when there is no power - need to add - and when it's dark! Hence the four star rating - incomplete/confusing instructions.

I ordered these lights about 2 or 3 months ago and they have worked very well. Also like the fact that if the power goes out that they will come on automatically. You can use them as a flashlight or an area light. The night light function works pretty good. It has a blue color on this function which is easier on my eyes at night when going to pee pee. Now the power out function has a white light so you will know when the power has died to that outlet. I think it would be a good idea to get some of these. You won't be disappointed.

Wow!Ended up buying 6 of these. 2 we gave as gifts. Kept 4. We have 3 homes. There are two features I love. First, it is a great night light which goes off after about 30 seconds of no activity. Bright enough to read a newspaper. When no motiin, no light.Of more importance, or at least equal importance, when the power fails it has a bright white light. The night light is blue. I cannot tell you how many times I have struggled in the dark trying to find a flahlight. No more. Power off, bright white light from this device which also is a flashlight. Superb.

Got these as nightlights for our kids rooms and for the hallway near our bathroom they are perfect for what we needed. They offer a soft blue light as a nightlight but when needed for a flashlight they are very bright. The attached picture is in my sons 10x10 room, it lights up the room enough to see what’s on the floor but not enough to disrupts his sleep. There is a motion sensor on the light so you can either have the blue light on constantly when it senses darkness or it will come on when it senses movement (when it’s dark).

Good quality, practical and the batteries last long when you don't have electricity.

I love this product. I put it in my bathroom because when you turn the light on the fan comes on and everything is bright and obnoxious.The blue light it bright enough to see and if it turns off, you just wave your hand and it turns back on. The light stay on long enough for me to see down the hall to get back to my bed. Lol.

Like the colour selection.Like the motion sensor.Like the power failure white light.Don't like that I cannot shut it completely off, leaving only power failure mode on.You either have a light that comes on when you walk by, or a light that is always on.I had to put a piece of electrical tape over the motion sensor to stop it from flicking on.Don't get me wrong...In two rooms I wanted the motion sensor to activate the light, but not being able to shut that off in the third room was a bummer.So, I leave it in motion sensor mode, and good ol' tape covers the sensor and stops it from coming on.Would have been nice if sunbeam had a switch for that!

This is such a cool light. If you have kids or older adults in the house, these light hallways and rooms. Plus if the power goes out, they turn into a flashlight. Costco carries as well, sometimes they go on sale here and you get a better price.
