Protect your family from harm with this First Alert battery-powered smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Photoelectric smoke sensing technology detects slow, smoky and smoldering fires and reduces nuisance alarms caused by shower steam or cooking smoke. This detector also alerts you at the first sign of carbon monoxide, helping you avoid exposure to potentially fatal gas. The voice and location feature notifies you of danger’s origin, so you can easily avoid unsafe areas. It also tirelessly interconnects with other detectors in your home, so that when one alarm is triggered all detectors will sound. A front-load door makes battery replacements a breeze, allowing you to keep your loved ones safe at all times.

1 Smoke Detector For The Price Of 3
I bought this THREE pack and I'm sure I would be very happy with it but I only recieved one single unit. Tryed to find a phone number.. None. Sent a message and I got no response. So, now I'm returning one unit with no way to prove I only recieved one.

Lable them with the room name!
Very important - tag each with their room name after programming. Say you burn something in the kitchen. ALL of them start screaming, so you take them down to clean air just to shut them up, fan out the kitchen, and go to reinstall. There's no indication of the room. Guess. Or, hit the test button on each and listen to its name, while it triggers ALL of them to screaming again.Help with the setup:I never set these up, and the alarm kept sounding without interconnecting. It is not obvious from 30 million pages of tiny print, this may help the setup1. the first one you set up, set the location *then* test.others:1.set the location. Be VERY fast choosing the location. You will make a mistake. Repeat until the location is set to your desires.2. interconnect.3. test the photo and co2 alarmSee the very tiny print in the directions for the exact order of pressing the button.

I have 6 approx of them and all of them do not work. I want my money back. I wasted time installing and pairing it

Easy to install, includes batteries, nice visual indicators. But they're ridiculously loud.
I know, generally, when it comes to the safety of your home, you don't want to skimp or limit the well-being of folks, but every noise this alarm makes is shriekingly loud. I don't understand why things like programming can't be a little more reasonable. I had to close my windows lest my neighbors and people in the community know what I'm doing. Also, setting the location isn't very straightforward. The device starts by saying "hold test button to program location, hold test button to test device." And it ends up testing the alarms. Makes me miss my Nest alarms (though those are ridiculously expensive of course.Anyway, whine whine whine. Just know that no one in your house is going to sleep through any aspect of this alarm.

Perfect upgrade!
Amazingly, these went right on the ceiling where my previous alarms were. Just took down the old ones and attached the new ones. My old first alerts were smoke detectors only, the new ones are combo smoke and carbon monoxide. They are also interconnected, so you can name them and if there is a detection of smoke or CO the alarms speak the location and either smoke or CO, so you know which room or area to avoid as you evacuate. We will have to wait and see if they last as long as my old ones, which are 10 years old and still work fine. Feeling a lot more protected! Great upgrades!!!
