Anbull Electric Start 2 Stroke Outboard Motor, 3.6 HP Boat Engine Boat Motor with Air Cooling System

Neither my husband nor I had ever assembled a boat motor before this one. We had it finished in a half hour- with 2 kids running around. The instruction book is terrible, so if you don't know what you are doing watch a video on you tube. Also, there was a strong included in the parts. It isn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions or on the videos so we didn't use it.Tools and parts are all included, so that was nice.It does not go in reverse, so keep that in mind.Our electric start never worked. I even bought a spare fuse to see if that was the problem, still no luck. However, the pull start is super easy to turn over so the electric ignition isn't a big deal.It easily moved our 16' aluminum boat with 4 people fairly quickly across the water. The motor is about as loud as a gas chainsaw, so you won't be sneaking up on the fish, but it works very well and is easy on gas.

When running its very loud you can not hear each other talk but does move you ok.

There was no spark, it would not start. I am pretty mechanically inclined, so I took it all apart, there was a wire loose, not really that big a deal if you know what you're doing. I fixed it, it starts up great, runs great. Very loud, but that is expected due to being air cooled. After 1 day on the boat at the lake, I noticed the mount was cracked, the motor was barely hanging on to the boat. I am not sure how it happened, i don't see how it could be my fault, but honestly i don't know. It shouldn't have broken like that on the first day in my opinion. I am now going to have to get that welded back together.I'm a very reasonable guy. I tried contacting seller but they never replied, I gave them 4 days to reply before writing any kind of review.

Have not got it out on the water just yet but it was real simple to assemble even without detailed instructions. Had a bit of a time with figuring out the transom mount.

First time out throttle cable broke leaving me nearly stranded, The throttle cable and electrical wires were already assembled by the manufacturer, either inferior parts or assembly.

Ok I rarely write reviews but this company is probably the best I’ve ever dealt with I had a small issue with my electric start and when I messaged them they got back to me so fast and it was on a Saturday usually it takes days of emails back and forth and it only took a few hrs to get it resolved, buy with confidence from this company because they actually care about their customers. I know they got loyal rite here
