Black Silicone Skin Soft Case for Nokia N8

These work petty good, but I always use them in conjunction with a Zagg Invisible Shield (or something comparable) and I always need to buy another one after 6 months or so as they do wear out. I go to the beach alot with my kids and I drop my phones which are always these expensive Nokias, and thus far after having tried many cases, this combination of Silicone and Invisible Shield does a great job of keeping the phone like new for the inevitable sale on Ebay. Just a note... I always super glue a memory card (SD Card) case to the back of the Silicone case to cover the lens and flash. You cut out an opening in the bottom of the SD case which turns the plastic SD card case into a lens cover. This lasted on my N95 8G (which had no lens cover as is the case with the Nokia N8) for 2 years. It keeps the keys and other pocket items from scratching the lens as well as keeping it pretty much dust free. Yes, it adds a bit of bulk to the phone and it's not pretty, but it works really well when you're rough on these devices like I am.

For only $3, I was not expecting much & so far the case is OK but not as good as the more expensive OtterBox or the Nokia OEM that I also purchased. The silicone is on the thin side & there is some flex on the sides when you use the buttons, so I can see this getting loose over time.The cutouts are not large enough: the microUSB plug cannot be inserted all the way & its really hard to use the lock switch.There is also no hole for the back microphone so if it is important that you record audio w/ your video, this is not the case for you.I do really like that they include a bit of silicone between the flash & the lens - just a bit of added protection for the camera.For the price, this is not a bad purchase but it is worth it to spend the extra $7 for the other 2 previously mentioned cases.

Even though i dont own my nokia n8 yet. it seems a little big. im not sure if this will be alittle to big or not, but ill keep you guys posted. anyway the case its self feels super soft, it has this weird odor though. seems sturdy enough for everyday needs. my only concern is the top where theres a little half circle for i suppose hearing a call (speaker) it seems a little too thin. it might rip. well thats it. i would recomed for its price, i got an ipod 4th gen case and this for 16$:) plus shippping and handelling!

I really like this N8 phone case. For the low price I paid, it is definitely worth it to protect my $400 investment. The case fits perfectly on N8, not very tight but snuge. All the outlets have accessible hole on the case, all the buttons have protuding button on the case. The only hole that is missing is the video mic, which is the small hold near the edge of the speaker. I didn't think that minor lacking is enough to remove a star, so I would give 5 stars. All 4 corners of the phone is protected by the base.

The fit is amazing. Well cut out and all entry points and buttons function flawlessly with this case. The product comes cheap but it does not look cheap. This makes the more great a purchase. The black color actually adds to the N8 looks. The phone does become a bit bulky with it but given the added protection and the nice looks that is not a down side. Very easy to slip on the phone, easy to clean. Well done, guys.

The case fits exactly to the phone. It is well made and protects well just like it should. All the ports are still fully accessible even the charging light can still be seen, the notification light shines through the case and still be seen. The screen lock slide is a little harder to slide, but its no problem really, just requires a little more effort and attention. Good Stuff.

This is not an OEM accessory, so can't expect perfect fit, but it becomes very hard to press the buttons. The case is also a dust magnet, and very difficult to clean. I stopped using it after a week, it doesn't really protect anything, and just adds bulk.
