Air Wars Battle Drones 2.4 GHz Toy (2 Pack)

These are pretty cool and pretty good price. I would have given these 5 stars had the quality and function had been just slightly better. Here's the specifics, we've had a few different RC choppers/drones. 1 of the drones works great my son can fly for 5 to 10 minutes with it and never have a problem 80 -90% of the time. The other drone has had problems since the first time flying it. Thank goodness it's not the one he picked as "his". The one with problems started out having issues pairing, did just as the instructions said and it wouldn't Auto take off, after several tries, it finally worked. Once it was flying, in the beginner setting, I tried making slight movements and adjusting the trim settings. Some of the time it responded normal, but most of the time it would continue to move even when the controls weren't being touched. Once it gets going it's often difficult to correct without crashing. The erratic flight caused it to break a propeller the first day. Good thing it came with extra. On the same crash it broke part of the framework that keeps the motor rigged to the outer edge. It's probably going to be easy to fix with a dab of glue, but had the drone flown right in the first place it wouldn't be an issue. Another issue they both seem to have on occasion is charge time and battery life. His less often, but they can be charging for a while and only fly for a minute or two. I'll be timing the flights in the future to check and be sure.

Do Not Buy This! I spent $80 on these and they do not work! They were a gift for my son. The drones have a mind of their own. They continue flying after the remote has been turned off (once causing my son to be hit in the head by it). They are impossible to control and the batteries do not last long enough to play with for any amount of time. Waste of Money.

Purchased this for my 13 year old grandson for Christmas. Seems like it should be an outside toy but the directions say not to use it in direct sunlight. Used it a bit inside and seemed to fly well once they read the directions. However, it does seem to be made of cheap plastic and I can see it being broken rather easily. Overall good toy for this era.

Lots of fun for the first few days. Kids loved them. Then one got off kilter, and it was challenging to get it trimmed up again using the instructions. But that is probably par for the course. Then later, one stopped working. It no longer responds to the controller. The warranty is only 30 days, so I am wishing I hadn't been so lazy after the holidays. So I submitted an online request for customer support, and we will see if they are helpful. If they are, then I will change this rating to four stars, or if they are super helpful then five stars.

same pairing issues as many others have described. this is inexcusable.were it not for this one big issue, these would be really enjoyable. the frustration of continual communication issues between controllers and their paired units saps the fun out of these.

They are tiny...I didn't realize just how tiny until they came in. However, it is still cool to little boys that they have remote controlled flying objects. Here's the problem, they only fly about 5 minutes before their batteries die out. So, basically, about the time the boys get the hang of flying it...it's dead...no real fun time/play time involved before it's time to charge it again. Very disappointed.

great gift and great fun my and my boys have a ball with these but make sure if you have never flew a drone before you set to starter setting if not you may find yourself on youtube
