Does anyone know what the difference is between the ex and sa dressings? are they pretty much the same?

I think they’re the same except that the SA is used for sacral wounds hence the shape.

What happens when my husband is incontinent of feces? Do I remove the entire pad and replace after cleansing?

I would just wipe off the bandage and continue to change it weekly. I wipe the skin with a skin prep pad prior to sticking the bandage on so that helps it to stay put.

Can one shower with this product?

Yes. Sometimes it will come off in the shower but sometimes it stays in place.

how can i use my insurace to pay for the product?

It must be ordered through a medical provider and direct mailed to you. I know when I had pressure sores and Homecare was treating them, they were mailed to me and ordered by nurse. Check with medical provider.
