New Items Make It Interesting
It's good. Has many bits not mentioned elsewhere. I was about 11 when it happened and I remember it was broadcast pretty much exclusively as a suicide. Now there are 50-50 chances that it wasn't. And so much covered up, suicide or not. And Greenson, who knew what this shrink was really doing in her life. She was so damaged. I wonder if anything could have been done by anyone, and I wonder if it would have been different now, with greater sophistication.Only derogetory point is there are a couple interviews that just go on interminably and they just go over the same stuff. I glommed onto that and raced along, skipping a lot of junk. Otherwise, very interesting.

Very informative and evidence backing up what's written.
Information backs up much of what I heard over the years. Really cements it together. Pretty clear who's lied and what evidence shows to be factual. Makes it even more a shame of who can get away with what in this world and how they destroy the meek. Brings out important information about Her true self and damage she had to carry alone.

But, the case is not closed nor solved.....is it
There is a lot of information given to us, albeit jumbled and confusing and not always clarified. One example: if Marilyn's home was bugged and so many different people heard the murder taking place, where are those tapes now? Where did all the recordings go?Second example: why was Hall the only person seemingly not offered any hush money who was at the scene? This was never discussed. Why does no one back up his story.Example 3: Noguchis autopsy findings regarding needle marks....he found no needle Mark's per his finding yet it is mentioned that marilyn had shots earlier in the week so those needle Mark's should show up. No one thought this was an incorrect finding? No one challenged it? It really was not touched upon much. The RFK segment left a very poor taste in my mouth! Where did the so called real shooters of RFK come from? Who were they? Who hired them? I couldn't follow this part of the book at all. It felt like bits and pieces of the shooting just thrown together. Is this real factual information or conjecture? Why wasn't this explored and discussed more thoroughly?I felt this book could have been written better. The information handled better and more smoothly. The murder of marilyn monroe case may be closed, but it's not solved. It has left me extremely sad....

nice research.
nice research ... i'm an astrologer and came to the same conclusion years ago ... but margolis's research has validated mine. I also have a strong suspicion that after her 21st birthday in 1947 she gave birth to my adoptive relative, Cousin It, in Niagara Falls. Conceived during Joe Kennedy's birthday weekend in LA when MM jumped out of a cake in the backroom of Schenk's studio and sang Happy Birthday to a Mr. Kennedy in her virtual altogether for the first time. If Mr. Margolis would care to contact me, I can show him my research on this.

Good information but poorly written
This book contains a lot of info on MM's death that I had never read before. The authors use countless sources and cite innumerable interviews and recordings. A lot of it is really interesting and makes a pretty undeniable case for MM having been murdered. However, the book is not edited well. It almost seems like the authors' notes or first draft accidentally got published somehow! The information is poorly organized; it jumps around from subject to subject, often abruptly beginning a new thought that should have been introduced in a separate chapter. There really isn't any organizational scheme as far as I can see. It would have been a lot easier to read if it had been constructed chronologically, or if all the information dealing with a specific topic or person, say, MM's housekeeper, had been grouped into its own chapter. It's pretty helter-skelter and often difficult to follow. But there is a lot of interesting information and it is a quick read, so it's worth a shot.

Very Informative. Answers a lot of questions.
Good Book. Of course I'm sure we all know by now that she was murdered and by the Kennedy's. There's so much more to this story I'm sure. this book covers the case very well and I enjoyed reading it. I found out things I never knew before. Just how involved Bobby Kennedy and Peter Lawford AND her psychiatrist and also her house keeper were. Poor Marilyn. She was used and abused. Such a gently soul. You really just shouldn't mess with the BIG DOGS. And I mean big DOGS. Had the public really known this much about the Kennedy's at the time I doubt John would have remained president. Marilyn passed August 4th, 1962 and John Kennedy the very next year, November 22, 1963. Then Bobby after that. June 6, 1968. Peter Lawford passed Dec. 24, 1984. He had to live the longest with the fact that Marilyn was murdered and he was a part of it.So sad. and Maybe Marilyn would have overdosed at some point in her life, but it wasn't the night of Aug 24, 1962. That night she was murdered.God rest her soul.

Rehashed
The reason I gave this book three stars is there is only half a book here, as we then go on to the Bobby Kennedy assassination, followed by pages and pages of notes, which I neither wanted nor read plus repetition is the name of the game! This book could have been maybe a hundred pages in total and I would have given it five, if it had stated the facts and left it there. Poor Marilyn is still being exploited, almost sixty years after her death!

not what I was expecting
I didn't like the condition of the book there were marks at the and top not bad marks but still not I expect from a new book It does not look like a new book so I suspect it could be used which is not what I paid for and considering that is around £7 difference in price I think it's quite a lotHad I wanted a used copy I wouldn't have minded the condition because it looks perfectly readable3#

Excellent
I have always believed MM was murdered and by the Kennedys. l thought this was the kindle version of the book l had previously read. It's similar but with more information. A very good read. Will we ever know the truth? Maybe in 50' years when all the players and their immediate family are no longer living. l use to think JFK/RFK were great at the time but over the decades things have filtered out and they fooled millions of us.

Twaddle
Badly written account of the death of Marilyn Monroe which purports to solve the mystery once and for all.Certainly not a cohesive narrative, boring and a complete waste of time.Speculation, lies and hearsay, nothing concrete. Rubbish.
