Just what I wanted
I was having trouble finding a wallet with these dimensions, nearly square. I, unfortunately, bought another a couple months ago that I just hate. It has the more traditional shape, longer and narrower. This makes it too fat when I put all my cards in. The Buxton here is just right. It's bigger - length by width, but this makes the thickness measurement thinner. Additionally, almost all wallets these days are RFID protected. I don't like that because I like to leave my transit pass in my wallet and just pass the wallet over the reader at the gates of my mass transit provider, in my case BART. With the previous wallet it would not read through the RFID barrier and I'd have to search for it in my wallet and risk forgetting to put it back. I don't why but the Amazon site photos of the Buxton did not show what it looked like unfolded. I took a chance and am pleased to report it has adequate slots for credit cards and a clear window for driver's license. It also has dual opening for bills. I like this so I can put all of my atm 20's on one side and the rest of the assorted bills on the other side.

Resembles a Geoffrey Beene wallet
As far as everything being made in China and throwing a different label or tag on something, this seems to apply. I have used a Folio similar to this for over 10 years, they were made by Geoffrey Beene at the time, but it appears they are no longer doing so. This one is not full leather and also has cloth in place of some of the leather making it lighter and thinner than my previous folios. The card slots were very tight but the ID slots were perfect. I would recommend this wallet on the quality and the price alone, but if you are looking for a wallet to carry multiple IDS that you are constantly having to display and carry multiple currencies, this wallet is for you. Bifold wallets are a million times better than trifolds.

Holds tons of cards and photos
I carry lots of cards. Credit cards, gift cards, debit cards, and membership cards. This is the only wallet I've ever found that will hold them all. Buxton was founded in 1898. My last identical wallet lasted me 15 years. The materials and workmanship are excellent. Fine leather for example. Thank God they engrave their name on the inside of it so I can remember "Buxton" when I need it replaced every 15 years. I rarely write product reviews but I can't say enough about Buxton wallets.

Nice wallet but defective
I ordered this wallet to replace one I've had for years. Unfortunately, with the card slots being so tight, stitching came undone when I was trying to get a card into it. As it turned out, I found that the stitching at the top of that slot was partly off the edge causing it to come apart at that point. I am in the process of returning this one and have ordered another Buxton to replace it. I love these Hipster wallets and have used them for years. They hold all you need to carry in a wallet without being bulky and uncomfortable in your pocket. This is a great wallet. I just happened to get one with a small defect which can happen with anything. Only wish the card slots weren't so tight. Had to trim cards to make them fit.

Quality not what it used to be
I purchased this wallet to replace an earlier version of this product which I had for a number of years. Everything was the same, except for the quality. Although it is still leather, the thickness of the leather has been reduced considerably, to the point where the pattern of the lining actually seems to show through the outside leather. I will keep the wallet, simply because it is so hard to find one with a two-up credit card window insert these days, but I must say I am extremely disappointed with the decline in quality. I just hope it holds up.

Favorite Wallet
This is the fourth one of these wallets I have purchased. I totally overload my wallet with much more junk than I need. This is the only model I have found that can stand up to my abuse. Purchased this one as a spare for my third one I just started using. The previous two lasted about five years each. Hope to get the same service out of these. Photo shows old and new one.

Perfect replacement
This is the perfect replacement for old worn out model. It holds all the credit and rewards and Id items I need without being to bulky. I do not remember where I found the original but luckily searching thru amazon I found this Buxton model. Also found a plastic insert for cards which wears out quicker than the wallet, so I now have a spare.

Well constructed wallet with lots of space
I bought this as a replacement for the sme model that I'd had for 15 years. The stitching was starting to come loose, but I could probably have used it for another 5 years. The card slots are a little tight, but this was expected and normal until the wallet gets used for a while. Even without the card window insert, it had room for all my normal carry cards
