Ontario Knife Co OKC3S Marine Bayonet, Black Blade, Tan Hard Sheath

Bought mine on Amazon from a Military Surplus seller and the knife came in as described with only very minor signs of use. It fit my AR-15 with no issues.Compared to the M9 that originally bought it hands down feels better in the hand as a tool. The difference between a quality name brand knife and a generic branded "Survival Knife" at Bass Pro.Sadly with Ontario Knife Co out of business at least at the time of writing this review no word on where else if anywhere these bayonets will be made this is now a limited commodity. That said if you can get one in hand it should be a knife to keep for decades to come.

Ordered this to have something to remind me of one of the best times in my life, its gotten more use than any other knife i have in my collection, ive processed game with it, used it for various tasks around the home and out in the woods while camping, hunting, or building, the quality is stellar and the finish has a long term wear. Fits great in the hand, wet or dry it performs, great toughness of the blade and holds a great edge despite the abuse its put through on a fairly regular basis, i think ive only had to actually sharpen it a handful of times. Great value for the money, the versatility is unparalleled.

A beast of a knife. Dare I say it rivals The K-BAR. As marines it is religion to learn to fight with bayonets. I love my K bar but I would trade my bayonet for nothing. Highly recommend this for utility knife and a bayonet to fit an A1 or A2 or A4 AR upper. It will not repeat will not fit correctly on a Mossberg 590 combat shotgun. It does snap onto the bayonet lug but the ring does not fully engage the magazine tube end cap correctly, therefore should not be used in a combat situation. It is OK for looks if that's what you're into. The M7 however does fit on the 590 A1 correctly and engages the ring fully so if you're looking for one for your 590 A1 get the M7. SEE PICS PROVIDED

This is authentic OKC. This is nearly identical to the USMC issued bayonets with slight manufacturing differences. For people/reviews complaining about poor condition upon arrival, this is likely possible. First, the knife has enough room to rattle around and scratch itself in the box its shipped in. Also the way the knife fits in the sheath just naturally wears at the blade so the blade is pretty much scratched the first time you use it. Doesn't ruin the knife just something to keep in mind.

You read it - that is the ONLY thing I do not like about this knife. After grinding a new edge? Oh yeah! Excellent field knife - it is, after all - designed and made For Marines, By Marines. This bayonet is the absolute ENVY of US Army troops.

It’s the real deal very nice! Mine didn’t come with the sheath pictured, but I like the sheath it came with fine it is Ontario brand. I am very happy with the knife and how fast it got to me. I highly recommend this knife and seller!!!
