20 Redbud Tree Cercis Canadensis Seeds

Here's the deal with these seeds. When you get them they need to soak in water for a good week or two. At this point it is instructed to plant them in cups and put them in a refrigerator for a month. We planted the seeds after a week and a half of soaking and set them in a window sill. After two week of waiting we had an 80% (8/10 seeds) germination rate. We put the other 10 seeds in the refrigerator and planted them a week ago. After a week we have no sprouts, but it took the other 2 weeks so we'll see.We have pictures of the sprouts on our Facebook page: Unique Saplings, and you can find time lapse videos of these saplings growing on youtube if you search for: Unique Saplings.

I had not luck at all germinating the seeds I soaked a few seeds, directly planted in soil a few seed and tried to germinate some with a heated mat. None of these options worked. So disappointed.

After 31 days their has been no germination. I assume that the seeds were stratafied as their were no instructions saying otherwise. I will give it another 30 days and update.

Even Though I had 75% germination, the pepper was too small. Usually it should grow to a 4 to 5 inches length, but this pepper grew only about 2 inches.It was also not as hot as expected.

These seeds were very quick to take root and grow, while you still can't tell they are a red-bud, compared to the growth rate of my other tree seeds, these are by far the quickest and easiest to start.

Tree leaves look different than stated. They are not heart shaped. Not sure if the seeds are for redbud plants. Here is the picture of 8wk tree

very good the shipping and the presentation , put i will be sure about the tree , because i need to see it grow up, when it start to grow up , i will know

The seeds germinated, but quickly died. Maybe something I did wrong, but all in all wasn't happy.
