This is a really good piece of wood for the price, only complaint is that it is not 2 inches thick like it says to be, it is a little bit thinner, but will still work for my needs.

No funny business here. As advertised and, honestly, a bit better than I was expecting. Totally flat, well joined, no glue stains, and most impressively, no knots. I was sure I'd wind up painting my project guitar because I didn't pay top dollar to handpick a knot-free blank, but my piece was clean enough that I've decided to keep the nice natural wood finish in the final piece! Your mileage may vary, but this was my experience and I'm quite happy.

I've purchased 5 of these body blanks and they have all been amazing. The wood is dry, flat, and the grain is well featured. I'll be buying many... many more!!!

Consider the "planed" pieces are unplaned or not properly planed. Besides that, it is the wood i ordered so no complaints there

Just ordered a slab of alder as well. These are amazingly well made. Planed and glued perfectly. This is a great option for the people that don’t have a joiner, planer etc and just need a great, square piece of wood to build a body from. They ship out really quickly as well. I’ll order from them in the future for my guitar addiction!

not planed properly, there is a gap in the seem on both sides. this was discovered after planing the blank down to the need size.

The wood had a nice pattern, was even and easy to cut.

It arrived straight, properly cured, no knots, holes, splits or splintered.It is too thick to use out of the box for a body blank but it is perfect for carving The top or body contours. There’s plenty of wood to work with.
